Should quest disuption be bannable?

Should quest disuption be bannable?

by Two » Wed Aug 19, 2015 10:10 pm

Just wondering what the people here think about PvP Rockstars killing quests mobs solely to disrupt other factions quest progressing.

It came to my mind watching the annoying 60 Rogue killing quest givers in Westfall (especially the Traitor) and use combat-exploit to instantly restealth so not even the two Ally 60 were able to hunt him down. Effectively he made it impossible for Ally to complete the Traitor quest for over an hour.

What do you guy think? Legal PvP or harassment that should give a ban?

I can tell you're completely new and possibly softened by retail

I suggest you wait for the pve server, because westfall is nothing compared to what's coming

If you are new here I highly suggest waiting for the PVE server. Even if you are a PVP player, the people on this server are the lamest fucking neckbeard twerps I've ever seen(both factions). 13 year old kids who do nothing but gank in STM/Redridge all day every day, people who spend all day killing quest givers just to ruin other peoples' fun.. I've never seen so many assholes in my entire life. Unless you already have a significant amount of time invested in this server, just wait for the PVE server and play there; that way you don't have to deal with people like Matt and Animegirl either.

Indeed, the PvE server is where people like OP belong. If you feel entitled to quest in peace on a PvP server, well here's news for ya - you're not. Getting rekt by an 11-year-old level 60 rogue called "Xxrougemasterxx" in redridge? How about going to Auberdine and questing there? You don't wanna waste your time going there? Do you think GMs should waste their time helping you when you don't bother to find a solution yourself? No, they won't, not on a PvP server anyways.

P.S. Sorry to step on your privilege. I hope you don't feel too oppressed and sue me.

For you ppl convinced that they are oracles and know everything about me: I've been playing here for a while already, my main is close to 60 and I've been playing on PvP servers before WoW was even invented and on games way more brutal than WoW ever was, made Grandmarshal during vanilla WoW, and played on PvP ever since with all classes so far.

Now can we please focus on the actual question?

"Extensive killing of important quest NPCs" is already mentioned in the ToU as a minor infringement. I guess its debatable what constitutes "extensive" and "important", but seems to be there already. Wouldn't the same behaviour be possible on a PvE server?

Yes it would be.. iirc killing an factions npcs will flag you for PvP still. So they will be killable.
