Which is best at PvP healing, Priest or Paladin?

Paladins are WAY harder to kill, and freedom is insane in wsg. I'd give paladins the advantage for sure

Paladins just got to many good things going for them as far as serviceability goes.

Don't get me wrong, priests bring a lot to the table. The main issue is priests are THE focus target in bgs because they have such a huge impact while being very fragile. Paladins bring similar amount of utility to the table while being arguably the hardest to kill class in the game.

for the last 6 years in wow, i have only played pvp healers, i have done them all. Priest are good, damn good. but have a high skill cap to maximize their potential. also the pvp set for priests is one of the better sets. its hard for them to get away from rogues and warriors. priest have the most healing spells in the game, and there is a lots of intricate ways you can heal with them in pvp.

holy paladins are eassier to pick up, and incredibly powerful. t3 hpally is just plain unfair to horde. find a warrior, follow them around and your g2g. downside is you need to pve to get enough healing gear to be competitive. very powerful pvp presence. pvp set isnt good for holy

im currently leveling a pally for holy pvp. nothing against priests, just have made too many of them

Pally on this patch is far superior for raw sustained healing, although this remains true through at least WotlK. You can also build squishier to the nature of pally to get more healing power. Priests on alliance are more utility(dispels/ward/fears/burns) + burst healing with shield + flash heal while pallies can cover cleansing and sustained healing.

Also second that T3 pally is ridic, but so is AQ40 geared ele/resto.

As far as fun to play, Priest is infinitely more fun than Pally.

High armor, Shield, high block chance, Immune to sheep, Bubble, BoP, Freedom, Sacrifice, best (defensive) dispel in the game...
