Horde vs Alliance - new to Nost

Horde vs Alliance - new to Nost

by Phocus26 » Sat Jan 16, 2016 9:02 am

Hey everyone -

I have spent a lot of time on a few other vanilla private servers and have been really impressed with what Nostalrius has to offer. That being said, I really only play this game for PVP so I wanted to try and find out what the scene is like @60. What are queue times like for horde/alliance? Is there an imbalance of one faction vs the other? It seems like the grind for PVP gear is fairly competitive.

Cheers -

Alliance have shorter BG queues on the PvP server. Horde have shorter BG queues on the PvE server.

if you want shorter ques and ability to gain more honor and play more games - Pick alliance

If you need Will of the Forsaken to be competitive in pvp and want to be able to faceroll your keyboard when fighting alliance warlocks and not have to worry about getting hit by a psychic scream or intimidating shout - Pick horde

... and Orc passive 25% chance to resist stuns... and Shaman dropping Tremor totem to kill Fears, as if UD having WotF wasn't enough...

thats a joke. Alliance premade > Horde premades > Horde pugs >>> Alliance pugs

alliance pugs are total shit, i dont know if its due to the fact horde have to wait for their queues it gives them more incentive to try hard, or if every mage who can actually pvp rolls undead. if horde has 1 or 2 healers in a pug they will pretty much always win. alliance mages never peel graveyards or sheep healers.

all the good pvpers rerolled alliance

horde get 30 min queue times and get queued into a team with half afks and half the enemy team paladins

wotf is pretty useless as well if someone purposely rolls alliance warlock for pvp 90 % chance they're sm ruin and going to kick ur ass anyway

orc stun resist raical blows dik fap / lfap spam makes it a waste & self ms ability is useless

you'll need that 25 % chance to save you from the 6 sec hammer of justice stuns

my advice if you want to play horde, wait until tbc server, thats when alliance racials get nerfed and everyone rerolls horde

Funny, horde and alliance top premades were pretty evenly matched on tichondrius. Maybe windfury totem + good ele shamans/warriors can work.
