Controversial: AFKing in BGS

AFKs in BG is forbidden. If you don't want to fight, then leave and let someone else fighting.
If you type "/afk", you'll see that even the game will kick you out of the Battleground.

I read it, and I guarantee you are the type of player that just afks off the bat when seeing a premade. Play, or get out of the game and let someone else who has a sack step up to the plate.

Your problem seems to be that you assume certain loss is an universal state. 2/0 WSG's have been won in pugs, 1200/400 AB's have been won in pugs.
The problem is that if you allow afking as a valid reaction to "ah we're losing, fuck it" you're bound to start seeing people give up after 1/0 etc. If you go into the BG you're supposed to try till the end or at least camp in base and kill the opposition while you wait for the loss.

There is never a good reason to afk. Just no.

Are we talking about AFK as in Away From Keyboard or leeching? Since well... your approach to handing out sanctions asfar as premades goes is pretty ***king stupid. And the fact that you can get a permanent ban is just laughable.

And I'm gonna take a leap of faith and say what I've told the two GMs who've approached me about this topic and handed out sanctions both times, stop humiliating yourself. People are litteraly laughing at your ToS regarding "AFKing" in BGs and I know I am for one.

Also, do something about the quality of the Game Masters you have, the majority (atleast the GM's I've talked to, to this point) have limited knowledge about the game and is just following your ToS blindly and can not be reasoned with. So it's fair to believe they have the brain-size of a peanut... and yeah... well, elephants. As much as I love this server I can't say one good thing about the quality of Game Masters we have on this server, just emberassing.

If you're away from keyboard for anything other than a quick bio break, you're leeching. If you need to go and make something to eat, leave the battleground and requeue when you've finished.

You are not entitled to honor you're not earning.
