Sorry but using evasion against a mage.... tells it all. You could simply kick his polymorph and finish him.
Experienced rogues always keep enough energy for a kick. Even after failing with kick, you know the ablity "blind".
Locks are easy, should die under stunlock.
I don't know what you are doing but from what I read I can see you don't know your class nor your opponent's class.
Mages are hard for a rogue that's true, but this situation was 90% winnable.

pretty much easy to beat a rogue as a mage

try to win a warlock first, that means u know at least a little bit of pvp, mage is hard for lvl37, for my experience, same gear, same skill, 90% win rate duel with warlock, 25% with mage

I once saw one come out the woods in Feralas, it really did. It was green like lichen and it's epics were shining miles away when it entered the daylight. I threw whatever loot I had and my honor at its feet and started running.

I remember just a bright flash of light and I woke up in Gadgetzan a week later.
