What Ana said. Would prefer that 100x to the current system or the original system, neither are very good for actual pvp.

Win trading isn't pvp, but neither is premades roflstomping pugs who don't even fight back just because it's the only efficient way to rank.

Yeah I think Ana has had the best ideas that may actually be able to be coded in and done by the Nos Team.

My ideas are probably a pipe dream and would require way too much work.

I would love for Nos staff to comment on some of Ana's ideas and if they could be implemented any time soon or what they thought of them.

@ Ana well done mate. Best post I have seen on any fixes yet.

Ana's idea is good and was actually on feenix but it was bugged as fck with people "keeping" their ab spot when they joined wsg and resulting in empty games as well.
Imo, multiqueu has always brought up more problems than avantages, either cuz of dodgemade or bad coding. Nost should just remove it completely instead of spending weeks trying to figure out a "good system" that would keep multique.
What's even the point of multique on such a big server anyways? If you q the bg you want to play, you'll have it eventually. Not like the population is small enough to have only wsg running like on feenix.

remove group queue (if it isn't removed premades are still able to dodge and farm empty bgs)

remove other queues once one is taken

ban addons that allow group queues/syncing queues

make games end in 1 minute if bgs are empty

Reasonable methods:
- disable multi Q or
- make other Qs drop once you've joined into a game making it impossible to leave without deserteur


Using the sledgehammer:
- if you do not accept a BG that pops you receive deserteur
- logging off during a running BG for more then 2 minutes will remove you from the game and give deserteur
- disable group Q
- close BGs after 1 minute if too few players are inside, no winner


Nothing is really hard to implement.

I think that closing a bg that has one empty team a lot earlier with no winners and no marks (or maybe 1 mark for both) would help a lot. It will stop premades from dodging since this will probably lead them to an empty bg and no honor at all. You joined as pre-made, you will either play as pre-made or get no honor joining an empty bg. It will also give us the power to punish dodgers by leaving (maybe decrease the deserter debuff to 5 minutes).
1 minute seems enough since there is no meaning in waiting for more. The first 2-3 minutes are enough to favor the team with the most players even if teams are equal after that.

removal of group queue would be great, but we would also see way more high ranks AFKing and account sharing if group queue was taken out. the old system did suck if you didnt have a premade, but thats how every vanilla server ever has been, and it was at least better than this new system.

i wish more of the whiners would realize that at least Nost is big enough that ranking to r11 r12 is POSSIBLE without a premade, on Feenix, VG, even kronos, if you arent in "the" premade group then you cant pass r10 no matter how much you play

If you haven't by now lost every incentive to communicate with the nostalrius devs about the state of PvP you should stop being delusional.

Reverting the changes is a hotfix that can be done in literally minutes, not that I was particularly happy with that system either.
For me an easy solution to the current problem would be to put people in standby in other queues when they are in a Battleground. Meaning:
You don't lose your position in the queue, but you are blacklisted from getting an invite as long as you already are in a battleground.

All they need to do for that is implement a Stack(PlayerIDArray), a loop(checking wether player is in a battleground ) and then simply push/pop PlayerIds in and out of the Stack depending wether they are in a BG.

Considering that this is cake from a developers pov & they haven't communicated with the community since they applied the changes. You can be 100% they simply don't give a shit - it's either that or they are insanely incompetent.

Anyway as a PvP'er this realm is worse than Ebola at the moment, not that it was any good to begin with.
Even Feenix had a better (not blizzlike but who gives a shit) system.

anyway we are now on week #5 of BGs being terrible for everyone while "premaders" win trade all day for free honor. how ironic that by trying to punish premaders with these changes, all Nostalrius did was make them more untouchable than ever

so sad you had to face 1 premade every 10 games and then probably still wintraded eachother every other blue moon during which you met.
