BGs are not fun

There is no bandaid fix for this pvp system, its a poorly designed system that reward play time, not skill. The only way to fix it is by not being blizzlike in the first place.

You only fight about standing with other hordies and since the otehr horde also meet those premades it doesn't matter.

For alliance tho it does matter. To have any chance on getting standing 1 you need to be in one of these premades doing 1,2 mill honor a week..

You must seriously be retarded! WOW what a post you made!
So you mean it's unfair that the Alliance can premade? The horde can't queue as a premade, if they do - they would ONLY get a pop if an Alliance premade is queueing, there is 0 chance whatsoever that a horde premade will face an alliance pug.
Belive me we tried to make premades to face you guys, but it seems like you guys don't even queue as a raid when you premade, the allys have found some way to join the same battleground with a full team avoiding the chance to get a pop vs horde premade. Cause we would sit for 2h+ with no queue pop at all.

Seeing the horde queuetimes together with this, world pvp would gather honor about 10 times faster than doing premades as horde. It would even be way faster soloqueing into instant alliance 5caps and just afk, getting grinded at the base graveyard.

First in line queue system with disabled multiqueue would be the way to go, cause then anyone can premade, anyone can pug, anyone can do fuckall on the same grounds. (you would have same queue times as the rest of your faction) which would be fair-er. ATM it's just bullshit, no joy in playing pvp, have to wait 30mins for a pop in WSG or get instapop into ally premade in AB. The only place we could go would be Alterac Valley but we all know how the balance is there aswell as how fucked up the scripting is there, all ally elites except mortimer respawn in 2 minutes etc ^^

If you want to do battleground PVP on Nostalrius atm you should not roll Horde. Better make an ally and get instapops into wsg where you would have 100% premade free games.

Yes honor is relative. I get it. You seemed to have missed the point as the post wasn't about honor.

This

Its a pvp system without any balance between classes.

Its a PvP system where the more you play the higher rank you get, instead the better you are the higher rank you get.

Its a pvp system where if you want to rank, you cant get a week off.

Its hasnt happened yet, but when more pve content is aviable, pvers backpedalers with great gear will defeat everyone, in their first Bg of their timeplay.

Its blizzlike system what is terribly wrong, but i think we all knew this. You cant fix what is broken to the core, you have to replace it, as TBC did.

What is funny is seing "rankers" or "premaders" calling themselves "better players" than others. Pvp skill will be measured when TBC server releases, rank only measures played time in a non balance between classes game where gear means almost everything.

This current pvp system is atrocious, it gives no incentive for stepping up your game, people don't care about the actual pvp, they don't care if they win or lose, people only care about how much honor they can earn.
If you want a good competitive environment you need some kind of matchmaking algorithm and reward people based on their matchmaking rating.

No but seriously, if you read my posts from like a month ago it's like I'm an oracle.
I'm gonna try something different, you guys bring up the valid constructive criticism of the current system, and I'll just shitpost.

The reason horde don't premade is because alliance don't pug, so you can't get queued against pugs, so your premade queue times are terrible. It's ridiculous to suggest that it's somehow because horde are bad. It's because alliance won't participate in PvP in any form other than premade pug-stomping. If they don't get auto-win steamrolls handed to them for free, they cease to participate. As such, horde can't premade effectively and instead pug or queue in single groups. This means alliance premades have an easy time because the lack of horde premades means alliance premades meet horde pugs 95% of the time.

That's not quite right, alliance have a ton of pugs, we just have way more.
Also the Alliance premades are more stubborn then you give them credit for.

9/10 though.

I'm going to assume you are an Alliance player since a Horde player that has ever PUGed a game wouldn't make a post like this.
In the current system the PUGs get the stick because alliance premades will still get qued into them, resulting in them getting farmed and overall demoralized.

Example: Should there be a competent Horde premade that managed to win or at least stall the Alliance premades for most of their playtime during the week, the ones that wanted standing 1 would probably dodge to get more honor than the ones that decided to fight this premade. This might result in them dissolving into groups of 5 and countdown queing or playing WSG or whatever the fuck. Point being is that the prem v prem que system is fucking stupid.

I just wish that AV actually would take 4 hrs... it's still as much rush as it is on retail.
