Good luck!

Tell me then how much RP should be at ~1000 standing with ~10k total # of players in standing list, if I'm didnt get the system.

You read that wiki fairly correct, however there is nobody here that could answer you but someone that has access to the algorithm that Nostalrius is using to determine RP gain.

For me there is only three logical deductions that could be the cause for the artificially low number of people in brackets.
1) Not all the people that get a standing participate in the Honor system. Maybe there is a hard break
(e.g. <X HK's in the contribution timespan)
2) The bracket coefficient are adapted to Nostalrius high population. (With a majority of people online <60)
This could be a logical solution to make ranking to high ranks more exclusive - Can however be influenced by people making low level characters getting kills and pushing bracket numbers.
3) They set a bracket limit (same reasons as 2)), but they are also preventing people to push brackets by making low level contributers.

That's about it, don't expect to get more information about this.

Is nos using the 1.12 buffed pvp bracket system? Bracket 1 for instance has been observed as 1-10 ish each week. Which would be in line with the .001% bracket size. If that is correct I should've (being ranked 27) gotten more RP than what I did compared to last week.

Who knows.

Also, looks like non-lvl 60 characters got less RP, than they should get with their standing.

WTB FULL Formula, that is using at Nost PvP system! =)

Just to make you know, when I was ranking we have used stacking at both first and second bracket. But the thing is that standing 1, when it was stacked close to others, have had less than 13k rp. Standings 2-8 could get over 13k rp. So they were getting even more rp than first standing. This is wierd and certainly there is a mistake in calculation formula. (referring to July/August of this year)

Also maybe it was fixed

lol you gotta be kidding me

hope ur trolling

You wanna say that
example:
standing 1: 1.100.534 honor
standing 2: 1.100.321 honor
standing 3: 1.100.114 honor
standing 4: 1.100.101 honor
...................................... etc........................

= ~13k RP for "everyone"!

In what conceivable way is that a fucking exploit? LOL. We also experienced the higher ranks getting less RP, not sure what causes it, but it was strange to see someone in standing 12 getting less than someone in standing 16 for example.

You know the standing is so close in honor because people agree to stop at a certain point to insure standing isnt pushed beyond whats needed. To get that much honor is a major grind each week, top bracket persons work with others to insure a honor cap no casual can obtain and no hardcore solo q'er can either. So when done right everyone in top brackets will be with in a very tight honor window. Its truly a wonderful sight to see.

There is something slightly unrelated that I'm wondering. If we look at last week's standing, Bracket one are stacking at 850k, and bracket 2 is stacking at 750k.
Why the 850 and 750? I don't understand the math behind it. What would happen if it was 760k br1 and 750k br2?

You want a pronounced shift to ensure a "mistake" doesn't over ride the bracket.

that bug appeared first when they fixed the rank freezing and happens since then. we never figured out who got what sometimes we had ppl with 13015 rp as standing 8.
