In the majority of the cases throughout the history of this realm, players have been banned left and right because taking advantage of existing game mechanics. Why should it be any different for dodgers, wintraders and alike?

I don't know if you've wintraded your way to caps or not and frankly I don't care enough to give myself a headache about it. If it indeed comes to a point where whoever farms the most wins then so be it. That you got a free 1 million honor for not doing anything whatsoever on an Alterac Valley weekend without decaying from the week before, effectively gaining a free week however is what concerns me more, point in case:

You were recognized by the ranking system with the amount of honor you had gotten which was ~1million easily getting you 12000ish RP, else you'd have decayed at least 10000 RP which would mean a loss of 2 ranks which would put you all at R9-11, seeing as you all still have your precious helmets that obviously didn't happen.

doesn't matter if you got banned or not. you were part of the ranking last week based on the honor you gained. you have that honor from last week for this week. it needs reset because the honor reset was weds. your honor needs reset, simple fact.

unless you want to say that a whole weeks worth of honor is fair when you weren't even online for a week? meanwhile being counted for the previous weeks ranking on a different battleground weekend.

and what advantage did others have over your banned team? they still have to face the same premades that are still ranking on both sides. where is this magical pixy dust advantage?

honor reset on members who got unbanned and problem solved.

Well in their defence, that character was banned for quite some time ago mate. Obviously there has been more spectacular bans such as raid queuing to AV and mining/herbing. The mining bans are a good example though: If someone recieves a permanent ban for gaining the advantage of thorium ore and eventual arcane crystals, why should wintrading, or even dodging for that matter, your way to the best in slot weapons pre Naxx for swords/fists/maces recieve any less treatment (given that there is solid evidence of course)? Beats me, just my perspective.
