Meh...There isn't really the best class for 1v1 or wpvp to an extent. It honestly depends on the player him/herself and a little RNG. Sure, some classes will perform better without skill or knowledge of the class *Cough Rogue* but at the end of it comes down to the player.
That being said...Rogue for everything :Kappa: but seriously find a class you enjoy, they all preform well.

Mage. Warlock/Spriest/Hemo-prep rogue also great.
The Mage scales excellently to group and large scale PvP though.
