What I wrote earlier + that honor difference between you and standing 1 do actually matter for the highest standings is whats correct.
First week there were around 50 people on each faction being r4 but st1 had around 40k honor. If wowwiki was correct then noone would even be close to r4 after week 1, but ye that didn't happen.
Also myself I had 569k last week with standing 13 and if the chart was correct then I would get 13000 RP since I'm over 450k, but I didn't. (I got about 11500 pts).
I'm just assuming that was because the honor system was broken the first week as low levels were exceeding the total rank they should be capable of getting. There's also the difference in population from retail servers versus this one.
Yeah, seeing as first week (or well week and a half) there was over 3000 players on alliance side with a standing (more than 15HKs) so that makes ranking alot easier. Most likely as much each week up to now aswell tho can't really see it due to the visual standing bug for people below a certain standing (already been reported to their bug tracker). Retail servers prolly didnt have that much less (guessing around 2k-2.2k people in the player pool each week) since they had almost same population, just spread with those sitting in queues rather than being ingame.
At this rate you can get more than 6-7 people getting rank14 at the same time if they align in the end, which is rather crazy. On retail the max amount of people on same faction getting r14 at the same time that I saw, was 3.
