rip pvp

Re: rip pvp

myself and others predicted this as soon as Multiqueue was removed and prem v prem queue left in the game. that being said, this is still 500000 times better than when wintrading was possible

the best system is original Blizzlike queue system with no Multiqueue.
Blizzlike queues + No Multiqueue = the "best" Premade gets the top standings.

- Blizzlike queues allow groups of tryhards to play together to achieve high ranks
- Blizzlike queues prevent groups from being able to wintrade or tamper with queues (because they are not in a separate queue pool)
- no Multiqueue means groups cannot dodge each other, so they will meet each other in between their games against pugs (keep in mind a prem v prem game usually takes at least 20-30 minutes, but the prem v pug stomp games are over in 4-6 minutes)
- this system would mean that the "best" Premade controls top standings.
- this system would prevent empty games from EVER being opened, period

PvP improved massively when Multiqueue was removed, I'm not denying that. but it could be improved even more if the system above was put into place. currently, things are tilted in favor of AFK leechers and account sharers. Everyone is now basically forced to pug AFAIK, and the result is that most games your team is all DPS/Damage classes and you have multiple players AFKing. unfortunately this is exactly what the community was asking for when they asked for an end to premades.

You don't know much then.
Alliance premade are running at any time of the day with decent qs apparently.
The 3 alliance premade constantly running means that Horde would have pretty much instant q if they tried to premade.

So what is "forcing" anyone to pug?
Certainly not the q.
Must be the fact that they'd have to put on a fight then? Well yeah, it's called "pvp rank" for a reason. You're supposed to PvP to obtain it.

What Ohhgee said is completely true, except it's very difficult to run full premades for horde if I understood correctly.
That being already said, I'll just para-quote Churchill : "Current system is the worst form of PvP, except for all others systems that have been tried from time to time."

And don't worry Niko, the chinese farming BGs 36 hours straight with less than 4-6 hours downtime from time to time will get caught at some point. I'm guessing those who deserve the top standings and get fucked by these guys online days & nights start to be really pissed about them and won't let it happen weeks after weeks.
It shouldn't be that hard for GMs to figure those accounts are being shared, which is against the ToU.
Be it via IP checks or just casually talking with the characters involved, expressing with proper English and Y hours later they talk English like a spanish cow.

It's basically the same problem as the (chinese, yes your char names make it obivous) black lotus Silithus mafia. We all know those 3 rogues in stealth at the nodes + the paladin logging at the same time every hour or so are being multiboxed and/or bought/shared accounts.

It's just matter of time before GMs can't ignore the countless tickets submitted with proofs and start digging into this kind of issues.

If you're being smart about it (industrial ) these account won't necessarly show different IP's;
also you won't see a big difference between players if you're not fluent in mandarin yourself.
#2
The difficulty in establishing a Horde Premade comes from:
A: Player Material - Missing Classes/Non-Communicative/Inexperienced Players of all Ranks
B: Being Forced to Straightup play against established Premades - which can easily form heir Lineup over a long time. (optimizing it and rotating people in)
- Hard to overcome initial struggles - finding 10/15 man you can work with.
C: Because of A&B --> People get upset and frustrated after the first/second loss and go back to their usual methods of honor grinding.

If you overcome all of these points and get a good group together that beats the alliance premades, happy honor farming in once again empty (dodge) bgs.

They are aware of the situation and are just completely ignoring it. It's been going on for weeks and weeks. It's VERY easy for them to look at play time and see it's not humanly possible for a single person to be playing that long. It's account sharing or botting. Admins have said nothing about it and I doubt they ever will.

I think I have been approaching this wrong, instead of farming BGs for as long as physically possible, could anyone point me towards a website where i can buy small Chinese children and make them sit at my pc 24/7 farming me honor? Apparently its the way to go.

Dear community.

If the Nostalrius team (inventor of the light bulb) would have any interest in your thoughts and opinions they would probably have asked the current pvp players about a solution. This new and improved system is working flawlessly as intended.

Now you say that chinese players are account sharing/multiboxing and online for 36 hours straight <- this: Dont be ridiculous no one in their right mind would ever play for 36hour or sell gold for real money, they have no report of anyone doing this since the launch of Nostalrius server - take your industrial conspiracy theories elsewhere.
