how do you actually get into a premade? i know that you dont have to be skilled seeing all the high ranked nuubies. Do i need to farm a high rank and then im allowed to stomp pugs?

Well, I guess it's more about actually talking to people that you can tell actually excell or contribute, then god forbid you need to find a somewhat decent setup instead of 8 warriors and 2 rogues.

i rolled alliance for this reason... premades tend to be overall better/instant queues. the larger ammount of horde pvpers tends to dilute. think the long queues take the fight out of them.

that being said, current bracket 1 premade of alliance is maybe 1-2 ok pvpers, rest are no-mics, ragers with no spine for competition or bad spec. No comms protocol, can't call targets, focus fire, and peel kinda level of bad....

not many people on alliance side have competitive gaming experience or the mentality for competition / team work. They're still the raging angry teens playing vidya games.

i would love to see a well thought out wsg / ab preamde with the best of the best, but usually thats not possible /difficult to organize.

a list of actual good pvpers /competitve players who are no longer ranking could help. as once people are done their grind they tend to drop off the scene and only queue in 5 man groups.

Like niko said, the first step is being the correct class that is needed. We have so many warriors ranking right now that it is almost impossible to get into a premade when you're a warrior. If you're a mage or a priest, you got a good shot at getting in. The rest of the classes just depend on what you are and what is available at the time. Sometimes you'll be lucky, sometimes not.

The second step is being specced properly. You might be a mage, but if you're pve specced without cold snap, you're really hurting your ability to spin flags in ab. You have to realize why you are desired for a premade. While you don't need to be super skilled or informed, you need to be willing to listen to the leader to learn what your job is for your class.

The third step is to have engineering and being ready to use consumables. This is really where the entire horde is lacking atm, because none of the horde are really usuing anything beyond faps (and basic engineering stuff). The horde could really step up their came in this regard.

Being a higher rank is good, but not necessary. However, you got to realize if you're r4, pre-raid bis isn't generally what is best for pvp. A priest with sub 3k health unbuffed is just going to be eaten alive. So yea, it can be hard to get into a group if you haven't made an effort to get pvp gear (and it doesn't have to be the blue pvp set, you just have to realize that the 500 +healing on your pve gear is next to useless when you're getting 1 shot). There is plenty of gear with stamina out there that will help you survive.

Host your own premades, make connections. you will get noticed if you are good. Don't be a flamer/blamer. Lead pugs in a calm logical way.

Dont expect anything if you are raging/no-mic troll enhancement shaman with TuF. Being a min-max pvp class/spec is important. Easiest when you are a pvp healer.

Generally don't need that many to manage ranking, a warsong 10man is fine to farm out the alliances.
What's hard on horde side is to find a proper comp for a 15man ab premade without retards that just start roaming after they're bored. Then you now have the factor of chingchongs with a blooded tooth for high standings, so even if you farm wsg weekend and manage to get top standing honor as a lower rank, you will have the dingdongs pull out their whole family tree to play their character for them, thus having to nosleep farm more.

Bann the chinese!

Why are you giving advice on this? Do you suffer from some sort of condition that render you unable to gauge own behavior?
