How is the world PvP while leveling up? post your thoughts

I'm loving it, even the times when it's me vs people 7 or more lvls higher than me, where every single spell resists and I get crit for half my health.

Vanilla isn't a race to max level. From roflk onwards, Blizzard's motto was "The game begins at max level", that is not the case in Vanilla. In Vanilla, the game begins when you make your toon, leveling is an adventure. Enjoy it.

This sums up my thoughts. I've had so much fun in random PvP encounters so far. Fuck all balance whiners, you have a chance to win if you play your cards right and aren't horribly outnumbered/outleveled by your opponents. I think the fights are quite fun because they aren't as calculated as arena PvP in expansions.

Getting killed by ?? level players is quite sad tho, some people must have really low self-esteem. I wonder what's STV like when I get there...

There's no such thing as world PvP right now. If you happen to be around 3249023840 members of the enemy faction, you die. If it's the other way around, they die.

STV is packed with ?? players who would rather grind honorless kills to troll levelers than farm the money for their mounts lol its definitely frustrating but it feels even better when you and a buddy get together and strike down that level 43

As a level 38 Alliance warlock, I'll give my two cents. I can't speak for everyone, but in my experience the Horde I generally come across don't attack me when it's 1 on 1 and we are around the same level, but they rarely hesitate to kill me if I'm fighting mobs, at low HP/mana, or just purely outnumbered/outleveled. I got my ass handed to me in STV. Every time I'm fighting somebody, one, two, three, or four of his friends come out of the wall like roaches.

Yesterday two of the Horde I killed in Desolace took it upon themselves to message me on level 1 alts to express their anger. I attacked and killed a priest who was the same level as me while finishing off a mob and I got called a "dirty nigger," and 'I'm gonna camp you now blah blah blah.' The other was a rogue who was running toward Shadowprey Village with res sickness. I didn't have any qualms about killing him after all the crap I went through. He messaged me in all caps in broken English and told me he hoped I would die by being hit by a bus and that my whole family dies.

After all the shit and frustration I endured, never once did I make a Horde alt to explode at people in a fit of ire. I'm not saying all Horde are cowards, bitter nerd ragers, and freaks, but a lot of them are. Blame it on Alliance being sorely outnumbered.

Really? Alliance getting outnumbered in stv? Today i didin't see any horde full group, just some leveler that constantly got his ass kicked by alliance full ?? parties. It's just the same shit for both factions, if you play alone you will most likely get raped, don't complain kiddo. Btw you are a lock, you should be able to succed in world pvp unless you miss a chromosome or two... Do you?

Ihave no reason to be mad and i'm not a kid, but i have enough of ppl complaining for getting ganked, do you ever read general or world? This is dumb as shit, even if everyone has a different game experience it works exactly the same for both faction, and your post pretty much validate what i was saying. Cheers.

The key is to stay the hell away if you see an apposing faction.

Don't initiate fights if you don't want them. They will respawn and come after you again and again.

If a fight comes to you, try and disable them and leave. If they keep at it, defend yourself!

The way I see it, the goal is to get to 60, then get honor, not to waste your time with low level skirmishes.

It's wow, unless you're planning to sell gold/char, it is a waste of time anyway. There should be no goal in videogames but having some fun. If you want to achieve "goals" go play real life...
