What u need to kill any caster rank14gladiatormotherfucker? Catch him without mana, dunno if was the case or not but is possible, many things are possible including the mage being a noob and being farmed by a low lv(this didnt hapen almost sure).
Other possible scenario and probably was what hepened, mage reseted fight because he can run away and killed lock just after. We dont see the mage die there and if u look at the lock frame(on the addon) u see he is full hp and almost full mana witch means the lock didnt fight the mage or he was fighting him with a group and he was the last survivor.
