I'd let you die there in 9/10 cases.

How is this even a topic.

I will generally help if I think I would be useful in the fight.

In this case I would have helped because Balanceftw is a lowbie camping shitheel and deserves to ghost run.

I help all Alliance, even if they started the fight (and rightly so). Even if I'm on my level 29 Rogue and I see 60s fighting, I'm all in and throwing all that I can at the Horde, mainly the slows and stuns that actually land). I don't care if he turns and one-shots me, I'm res'ing and going back for more.

Too many times have the Horde backstabbed me in the past to feel bad for, or have mercy on anymore. I'd pass by so many Horde questing and fighting mobs just to have them attack me a minute later while I'm fighting mobs for the same quest, or swarms of Horde would gank WAY more in STV (especially in vanilla, it was always lopsided and Horde would be the main aggressors).

I've thought about killing the Horde Flight Master in Gadgetzan only because Horde had done this to Alliance so many times before, now it's payback.

Even when I am on my one Horde alt, a Shaman, to test Shaman class (I never did in vanilla), I've seen multiple guild invites in World chat with the advertisement of inviting people to join specifically for griefing / ganking Alliance, etc. Yes, this was more than once or twice I've seen this in Horde World chat recently. I've NEVER seen such a thing said in World chat on Alliance and I play Alliance 95% of the time when I'm logged into this game.

All Horde go down.

Good to see that one Alliance finally got frustrated enough to fight back in wpvp, only 6,999 passive catamites left to go.

It's really tedious man. If I'm in a shitty mood, I'm not going to entertain your boredom and fight, just kill me quick, be a hero, and I can be on my way.

When I want to wpvp with someone, I usually do /wait, then /question, put the attack animation by hitting right click on them. If they accept, I usually /nod, and then we go at each other. It's really cool that way, I remembe rdoing this with an orc in Arathi for 2-3 times, we'd rez next to each other, eat, then say /ready and go again.

After he won the 2 out of 3 little session we had, he waited for me to rez and then waved /bye.

It's normal. You have to remember Horde was designed to be the secondary faction, the antagonist, the other. They exist as opposition to the main faction of the game, the generic protagonist, Alliance.

Horde can only exist through attacking Alliance and griefing as much as possible. Alliance only cares about Horde in as much as it is an inconvenience. It's a pretty watered down version of the WC3/TFT story, returning to the WC1/WC2 dichotomy. Just like any story, the generic aggressor can only exist through aggressing. The generic protagonist has a linear direction that doesn't require the aggression.

TL;DR. Horde need to grief to validate the entire theme of the faction. Alliance doesn't need to care one bit about what Horde does with themselves.

In penix i rolled and stayed alliance.

Here i decidee to try horde instead. It seems i like being the antagonist, looks more right how orcs invade humans, more than humans invading orcs. It feels less wrong to be a brutal aggressor as an orc

Jaina Proudmoore's father kept attacking the horde even after Thrall led them to Kalimdor and had a peace agreement with Jaina. He couldn't let his old hatreds die even though Thrall had led the horde into a new era. Rexxar made sure he died along with his hatreds.

People who think Horde are supposed to be the "evil aggressor" are the ones who never played the RTS games, especially WC3. It's not supposed to be black vs white, it's more like gray vs gray. The actual lore is less "the faction of absolute unquestionable evil is trying to exterminate the faction of absolute unquestionable good" and more like "two factions make both righteous and morally questionable choices while simply trying to survive and gain an edge on the other".

The Alliance pride themselves on being the faction of honor and justice, but they still interned the Orcs in concentration camps even after they had broken free of the control of the Burning Legion. We must #NeverForget the six billion.
