I always found it very odd that Nostalrius is super-strict about making sure no gear whatsoever is released or updated before the appropriate patch, yet they made an enormous exception to that rule for the pvp armor sets (many of which were pretty shitty and only got updated in the Naxx patch, 1.11).

It also seems very odd that the Nostal staff will perma-ban players at the drop of a hat with no review for relatively innocuous stuff like the silithus mining debacle, yet they let obvious win traders off the hook scot-free (in fact given their honor during AV, they actually benefited hugely from being banned!!). The only thing that makes sense is that the Nostal administration is monetarily benefitting from the sales.
