Because of the way honor and decay works.

So one cant Q solo and grind away honor? Seems to me alot of QQ'ing about not being able to steam roll via premade. Just go to grind it out.

I understand completely, you need a considerable amount of honor to keep rank let alone progress. Something Im not new to, but the grind it out concept applies. Just got to spend 19 hrs a day grinding it out hoping you win alot to maximize time spent.

And what if a rank 4 has a vacation from his job for a week and decides (and is able) to hit the top 0.3%.
Can he hit it for 3 months straight? No probably not. But he can hog the spot in the standings for you.

Random groups, random outcomes. It's mostly luck based now. Me and a friend have been solo queueing for exactly the same length of time, sleeping around the same time. He's 58k ahead of me.

If it comes down to it, I don't really care I already have r13 I'm a druid, I don't really need r14. But the effort required for any of you to reach my rank just increased 100fold (And I'm not talking about free wintrade bullshit, don't even bring that up or imma smack you. I'm talking about being able to beat people because of organization.) And if that doesn't bother you then well...

Please, you only have that few honnor because you sit all day afk at farm while replying to this post.
Look at Jawohl, carrying every wsg and 200k ahead of you.
If you want to make bigger honnor, have an impact on games. "Defending" farm is the role with the lowest importance in ab.
You're a druid, if you want to make bigger honnor, have an impact by doing the only thing druid has ever been designed for in vanilla: run flags.
It is luck based but at this point, it is also brain based.

Jawohl is in a different timezone. I can't even get into WSG during the hours I play.

The ranking system is realtive, you're still of the tradewin mindset. The mind set that you need 1 million honor to get anything done. Stop it. It will be a grind and people will progress, the cap wont be a million unless some guy puts in the 40-60 hrs a week to get it. God bless that man if he does, he actually earned it.

This is a Vanilla WoW server right? Using the Vanilla WoW honor system.

In Vanilla WoW I mostly ran and organized premades. That was Vanilla WoW to me. It's the reason I want to play Vanilla WoW. It's how the people in Vanilla WoW earned their honor.

I kinda wanna play Vanilla WoW.

I want to queue up with 14 others and defeat whatever appears on the other side of the BG, like you could in Vanilla. (As long as it's SOMETHING that doesn't instantly take WSG as soon as they see us.)

no sorry bro, this is nostalrius' private server.

go make your own server and enforce your petty rules so 0.2% of the community can enjoy 10v0 games to achieve a meaningless rank after 500 hours of farming.
