CALL TO ARMS! - The Stonetalon Offensive (Sat. March 14th)

Oh man. Our honor was thanksfully restored with that absolutely amazing defense of IF. Haha! :D

Well done all! I will put a better time next week, for Europeans, and for me apparently since I got 30 minutes late and the Horde just destroyed Astranaar. 5:00PM EST, Saturday, would probably be my best bet. There is sure a great demand for this kind of event, as we all can attest!

Also, if anyone else of the Alliance or even the Horde wants to organise the next one, you can go ahead! I am no kind of leader, I just called a time for everyone to meet and see some sweet PvP action. I have some pictures of Ironforge Defense for any future OP if needed, also.

Glad to hear! I saw many attempts last week, but it all sorta failed. The best is to call a time in advance - whoever really does it, it doesn't matter - mash it up with a little RP backstory, and let the magic happen.

Again, I may see why some folks would be reluctant I host it again, since I got a bit late. And, of course, European were sorta upset with the time. But if we schedule ourselves better, say two hours before what happened today, it would probably work better for everyone, by making it weekly as well.

Besides, that's why I invite anyone else to do it if they think they can do it better than this.

Pesky Alliance, hides behind their NPC guards and bottlenecks us at the entrance! We will be back again even stronger! You will all DIE by the might of the Horde, Ironforge will one day be ours!! Lok'tar ogar!

Literally nothing we could've done as we got up the ramp towards Ironforge. I'm going to highlight the stream soon, and if you watch you can see the amount of lag we had as we ran into the AoE without even seeing it prior, haha. And when you got close to it, there was no more control of your character, you were just suddenly dead after 141295181254 delayed damage hit you.

Literally just like the old times, haha, so much lag no1 can do anything but spam AoE.

I noticed after all the lag and carnage that you guys had loads of AoE classes spamming the spells ontop of a hill. There's no way we could've fought against that positional advantage and lag.

But well played. I'm still really disappointed you guys didn't show up to Stonetalon at all. It would've been an entirely different story then if you had seen how many we had rallied in a bunch there. There were so many people that I couldn't even log on at that spot until after 5-6 tries. Yeah, I'm not kidding here.

It was fun, though. Even though the lag was too severe to do anything and everyone just died without any chance to fight back or understand why they died. But that's vanilla World PvP of this scale for you.

In this soon you have been already pushed up to your capital city, this is the horde's victory!
Not attending to war in contested area has brought danger to your lands.
Was good to have you all

This indeed.

Because let me get this straight:

1. Alliance challenges Horde for a fight and sets time and place.

2. Horde accepts and is ready for that fight at the given time and location.

3. Alliance does not show up for their own challenge. Which is about the lamest thing anyone can ever do.

4. In response to this cowardice the Horde goes on a rampage through the lands. Crossing half the world, demolishing several alliance towns on the way. Unchallenged they push all the way through to the Alliance capital, where a desperate last (and first...) stand of the Alliance no-shows finally manages to stop them.

5. Alliance goes onto the forums to brag about their IF defense... That's just lame and shameless. Next time, show up for an appointment. Seriously.
