I wasnt even talking specifically about u just everyone in general but BGs dont showcase how good you are at you class since u get disguised in a mass of people , in 1v1 duels there is rng / class matchup / skill

That is actually the only environment you can tell anybody is playing their class right. Sorry to burst the bubble.
You can distinguish a good player in this "mass" of people fairly easily.
WoW has never been based around a straight up 1v1 scenario.

but im 100% sure that any class ( some more than others ) can win here

As a warrior there isn't even a point in signing up for this, unless you let them Prepot all Protection Pots, allow every nitty item in the game and then let them FAP/LAP to their hearts extent.
(Even then you can't really lose as a mage)

Everything will be determined by matchups, if you want to give a tournament relevance. 3v3 is the way to go.

Would have preferred and def signed up for 2v2s (without double class comp possible) since it requires teamplay but I guess it's way harder to organize out there unless GMs help.

Limits on consumables etc (FAP/Engi/Bandages) > Since you are a warlock i'm guessing no consumables except classmade consumables like spellstone and soulstone amiright?
Can you attempt a reset and drink?
Limits on the cooldown of spells you can use?

Since you are a lock i'll also take a wild guess that you want it to be alliance only to prevent losing to UDs.
Maybe even a geared enhance shaman that gets in that lucky SS+WF and knock you out in round 1

So i'll put my money on a SL lock doing the fear dot run thing vs every matchup he comes across.
So the most skilled player will end up being the guy who does basicly the same thing vs every matchup

Thank you , that was exactly my point.

Im not gonna make the rules to cater to warlocks nor myself specifically because I don't care

My goal is to make the rules as fair as possible so that any class has at least a small chance to win
and by doing so encourage more players to show up

And at the end of the day , there will only be 1 winner - therefore for the majority its gonna be all about participating and being part of what is to be the biggest duel tournament on Nost thus far.
