The ganks are kinda ridiculous...

The world pvp is great. I am speaking as an Alliance paladin. If these fools don't like it they need to go find a carebear server. The community and interaction is what retail is missing. I specifically picked Alliance because I like being on the faction that is outnumbered.

I'm level 40 alliance and it hasn't been too bad. STV is obviously bad, but I managed to avoid it except for warrior quest. It sounds like it gets worse the higher you get, though.

The world pvp is great. I am speaking as the most overpowered drunk-designed instant one click full-heal and invincible bubble + 9x instant ccrit attacks reckoning bomb and 3s damaging-able stun class.

To be honest I was getting ganked a few levels back and would get mad after a while - then I reliased it happens to the horde just as much. Now if I get ganked, I leave the area and go and gank some horde elsewhere. To be honest...it makes it fun :-)

Sometimes sweet sweet revenge ensues. I was questing in Winterspring and on my way back to the town when I ran across three Hordies - UD lock, UD rogue and a tauren warrior. Of course they immediately dismounted and murdered me.

After ressing I turned back south and checked out the 3 quest locations in southern Winterspring. Sure enough, they were killing the elite frost giants. My first two attempts at revenge ended poorly - disc/holy priest isn't quite a sufficient powerhouse to take on three enemies, though during the second attempt the warrior was killed by a giant as the lock and rogue focused on killing me.

Luckily for me, a human rogue showed up and, after ressing once more, we proceeded to kill all three of them. Then a gnome rogue joined the corpse camping fun and the savage beasts were slain again. After that, my personal thirst for vengeance had been sated and I left, though the rogues stayed behind. Not sure if they camped the Hordies for long or not.

Remember, actions have their consequences and this one was very satisfying.

I personally never ganked in my wow career
Sure i kill a guy that gives me honor, twice if i have a bad day.
Also i enjoy killing active pvpers that i know from battlegrounds and we engage wpvp for an hour or two where we kill eachother from full hp.
I kill grey people too if they flag during a city raid... overall i enjoy pvp a lot.
But griefing pve farmers and lvlers to the point where they are forced to logg?
personally i never got ganked in the way people describe it here.
Corpse farmed by the same person for more then an hour?
Do you guys rezz at your body in plain sight?
rezz behind a tree use hs go somewhere else
Or group up..
With these posts it feels like 50% of wpvp are griefers.
I ask myself 1 question... why griefing?
Possible answers:
you are bad in pvp and want to let steam off because ur pug lost again... and for some reason you wont get premade spot.
You are terribly bored with wow
Retaliation because u have been camped
Its your kind of fun

Sollutions:
get better in pvp, no good pvper on the server is called out for griefing actually... like ever..

Play a different game

Why gank people that didnt gank you? retaliate to the right person!

if its your kind of fun... well tell me what exactly makes you happy?
the rage whispers? the oneshotting dance emotes? the sole purpose of ruining questing for someone?
Pls enlighten me because pvp for you is like stealing a lolly from a 5 year old, or making fun of handicapped people...

agree with u at all

I managed to get lvl48 3 days ago (now 50lvl).. I've been corpse running 90% of the time I've been online after 48lvl. I could name up to 10 people who have rerolled horde or quit playing here completely in last month I've been around only due the exessive ganking in higher level zones.

Also me and my two friends are quitting for now aswell since we have limited free time and we rather play for fun instead of getting ganked by t1/r10 players 24/7.
