I think both me, and the devs, and everyone who enjoys actually fighting other players will agree, that this is no longer the vision of Nostalrius. With the last change they are basically saying that everyone should have an even chance of achieving rank14, while keeping premade vs premade having nothing to do with ranking.

They put prem v prem on an island, so you can do it only if you want to prove that your team/guild is better than the enemy team/guild you are facing (an actual challenge - WOW!)
While ranks can only be achieved by playing a lot with up to 4 friends and actually having to fight for a win. If you think this will screw over the rankers, well guess what, the system is dynamic. If no one can make more than 300 000 honor, that means that people going for Rank14 will need no more than that.

All these changes did, is massively deflate the honor point requirement to achieve a high rank and somewhat introduced being able to actually beat your opponents a requirement to achieve those ranks.
RIP Player vs Flag

Now if they reset everyone's rank (ofc not gonna happen and would be absurd), it'd be so much fun to race for ranks in this manner (This is only my opinion and I honestly hope it doesn't happen for the sake of the people who spent months playing Player vs Flag. Despite the ways of spending time, time is a precious resource as we all have only a limited amount of it)

so now the chineses with afk bot win ? not because they try, not because they re good, not because they can organise a team, just because they play 24 hours sharing with their cousins and grandfathers? sounds a nice change to me bro.

Maybe you could think this change as good thing if they actually removed the prem vs prem qeue, since the dodging alrdy disapeared with the multi qeue, the system would benefit the good players actually organising the top dominating premades, which would win over the other retard teams that cant no longer dodge in empty games/ other bgs.

while i think its an improvement to the previous system
it does not stop the chinamen, they're gonna be the winners here because they play more
you can no longer benefit from grouping up, its all about time invested

Turn this weird custom-made feature off please. Not because it's not blizzlike, but because it's detrimental to pvp scene.

The new system is pretty much awesome.
I've only got close games with about 50% ratio ally/horde win.
Most of the time there is a semi in either of the teams, but you never feel like one of the side is getting facerolled. You rarely have the classic phenomenon induced by premade where the other side usually afk.
Everything is pretty much awesome, I really can't understand how some people find a way to complain... probably people that have been brainwashed too much by empty games.
The global honnor gain will obviously be lesser but who cares? The people you compete with have the same issue and won't do crazy honnor neither.
The previous system rewarded tipme invested only (since you only had to group q to have honnor).
The current system reward both time invested and a having a good win ratio.
In the end, the people that no life will get their rank, but now they will have to actually play the game and not only watch a serie with wow in background.

Tbh, the only goal of rankmade is not to get outfarm by other rankmade.
If there is no rankmade at all, why would you chose that way of playing? It's boring af to faceroll every game. If I have to play 12 hours a day I'd much rather actually play than just watch my druid fast cap.

You don't understand. We need the TOP 0.3% of honor earned. This change forces us to rely on RANDOM LUCK that we can outearn people that are rank 7 etc, that do NOT require such insane amounts of honor.

Instead of gathering a skilled group to earn it, now you just mindlessly solo queue with your fingers crossed.

Younie, there is no doubt this system is better than having multiqueue (lol) enabled.

Anyhow, try being a Horde premade now (those poor guys). Good premades are the highest form of vanilla pvp and this "premade vs premade queue" basically destroys the premade vs. premade gameplay.
And I am not talking dodging.

You say it's random, but in the end the ones that play a lot get their rank and that's it.
Apparently you can have up to a 5man group, it's largely enough to motivate the other 5 pugs and win a good ratio of games. I've ran into semi horde premade and, even if it wasn't 7min win, it was still rather fast win compared to people that would q alone.

I personally see that system way less random than the previous one.
Before, absolutely anyone could do the same method as high ranked people (qing as full group automaticly impleid getting the free games).
Now, rankers actually have an upper hand since they are supposedly better geared and can gather up to 4 friends to have the upper hand in bgs.
