Chinese are big problem lately. They overpopulate the server, most of them can't speak English, they afking bgs and most likely they share accounts making problems to pvp rank and ah economy.

But Nost is a free private server. Servers cost money and need people to check them. Be realistic and don't expect to see new server for Chinese. But some extreme actions must be taken. Like perma ban for account sharing (if an account is active for more than 18 or 20 hours), or for not speaking/understand English (random ingame chats from gm or volunteers). Those actions are not only for Chinese but to anyone that can't communicate with other players. More extreme can be a max cap for chinese people online (if that is possible).

Literally, there are gaming forums in china that made an article about Nostalrius and this has also created an influx of chinese players rather paying a few dollars per month for a VPN and connect here for free, rather than paying Blizzard the montly subscription fee for retail. This will soon become enough big of an ordeal and possibly have negative effects for Nostalrius.

Of course they will. And so will the gold-farmers, since the established gold-seller market for american dollars exists here. Thats why there should be no option for them to stay. Character transfers for CN players must be mandatory.

Money? All Nostalrius has to do is open a donation for opening of a Chinese server. I bet there are hundreds if not thousands of players willing to donate so the chinamen would leave. I'd certainly do that.

People? Yeah, and imagine how much problems does the existing chingchong population already generate. Endless botting and goldselling? That always requires GMs to monitor them, enforce their bans and then handle their google-translated "ban appeals". Meanwhile, Nost could just create a reservation for China's and let them do whatever there. It's in their nature. Trying to prevent them from exploiting is like trying to prevent gypsies from stealing.

In the past 3 days the Chinese have absolutely wrecked the AH economy.

Just a small example...

I saw stacks of Copper Bars going for 1-2g a stack most of the time, definitely no lower than 5 silver per bar.

In the past 2 days that has dropped down to 50-60s a stack.

Wool Cloth was about 40-50s a stack, and now is going for about 30-35s per stack.

This is in literally the past 72 hours, whereas the previous week everything was pretty stable according to my data.

They're smart little bastards on the auction house too, if you look at their spammed low price items, they always intentionally list a few items super high to fuck with others using Auctioneer so that people buy their stuff quicker hoping to flip and get a quick resale, not realizing the Chinese are fucking with the median.

Economy on the AH is utter shit right now. It was absolutely fine for an entire week until about Wednesday or so.
