Anyhow, try being a Horde premade now (those poor guys). Good premades are the highest form of vanilla pvp and this "premade vs premade queue" basically destroys the premade vs. premade gameplay.
And I am not talking dodging.

If you're talking about actual premade looking for a fight rather than farm honnor - you just have to ask allies to form one and have some good fights with them (I don't see why you'd have insane q time, if 2 teams actually want to meet, unless it's bugged).
I mean, if there is no ally team willing to fight, it's the players fault, not the system fault.

I have gotten shat on in most games, pretty much all warsong queues I have met a full 10man alliance premade because they're able to countdown queue. I know it's not a major problem, but for me it's a bad draw of the luck and I'am not gaining honor.

I just want to have a fair chance at honor, to be able to play with my premade group against the alliance premade groups, but I can't.

I hated the empty game queue system, but that actually seems way more appealing than this. I'am sure the vocal minority of the pugs are enjoying this queue system, even rankers that are done, but majority of the pugs seem to just afk more and more in the games -- thus making even pug vs pug games rough because people do not care and afk.

I really didn't have the same experience ....
Last game I got was against 7 high ranked alliances (cerina's group) and it ended up 3-2 for alliance with 10 people in both team fighting and, in the end, a good bg that was enjoyable

Anyhow, I wouldn't be against a blizzlike system either. As long as games are not empty wintrading I'm 100% happy.
Just wanted to thumbs up for the changes implemented by Nost. Mostly in comparison to the previous system.

Wait, so you want people to have to force something that should be there on default? :D

That's great if you aren't ranking. But if you're ranking up why should you hop into a separate parallel queue system to play just-for-fun.

Nobody has the time to do that. With the way that decay works we are obligated to earn as much honor per hour as possible, which isn't possible waiting around for games to start.

What's wrong with playing against a premade? The premade (Regardless of rank/gear) took the time to organize themselves strategically in hopes to defeat the opponent. They should beat pugs.. that is kind of the point, right?

This does NOT mean win trading...

The problem with the prem vs prem algorithm is... it doesn't factor in the imbalanced number of players queuing either faction.

Currently the Alliance are able to queue prem grps and receive fast queues whereas the horde prem groups are taking over an hour to get into games.

You might ask.. so whats wrong with that right? Well this is why...

The current ranking system requires players at higher ranks (let's say R10+) to have a considerably larger amount of honor than the average player. This is usually done in the form of a premades winning games more often than the average player.. thus receiving more honor.. The best ones get the most.. Ideally...

Well.. The Alliance currently are able to do this for the most part..

Horde... have to sit in a queue for over an hour (or more) to win 1 game (maybe) while the pugers are able to farm more honor per hour solo queuing and losing every single game. This completely ruins the ranking system on the horde side and quite frankly anyone that had a dream of becoming a High Warlord is probably considering never loging into Nostalrious again...

Remove the prem algorithm and keep 1 queue at a time and yes.. the pugs will fight premades periodically. But this will not only encourage new rankers to form more groups, it will reward the ones that win more because they deserve to.

So now you are gonna tell me that people will just win trade/dodge right?
Yeah.. so ban them.. and move on..

I am ranking because I want to be recognized as one of the best players on the server. Not a win trader or Chinese farmer. I am not saying that becoming High Warlord or Grand Marshal means you are one of the best as many would argue its a time commitment thing. But we are certainly capable of fixing the queue system so that higher ranks are more reflective of better players.

so if puggers are beating your honor/hour.. stop premading and get your pro 1.5k+rated asses in pug games to carry them yourselves like everyone has to now to rank up? = get more honor than average pug vs pug

Thanks for the quick feedback

First of all... What are you talking about 1.5k rating? You are losing credibility right of the bat, however I will entertain your comment with the benefit of the doubt

Second... Sure that's nice, but then what does that do? It creates no alliance premade competition which is going to turn into an alliance stomping ground.. and due to this... the effectiveness of higher rankers in the pug groups becomes practically useless. Do you want that?

Not to mention this strategy will only spread out the high rankers into different games, again being less effective than being all or mostly together in one game. You cannot control group composition.. also.. which is a huge factor.

Do you think that what I am asking is unfair in any way? Because I believe your suggestion creates an unfair and alli biased system.
