It doesn't matter if you're wearing white/green items, level 12 and is the first time ever you play World of Warcraft. So long as you're a pleasant person to talk to, interested in learning how to play, and moderately active, it's great.
If you're a guy who demands voice chat so we are forced to put up with your mouthbreathing geek voice rambling about how high your DPS is, what a nab X or Y guy is for using random item nº1 over random item nº2, or complaining about how the healer was 2 seconds late in rebuffing you, you'll get a gkick quick enough.
Knowing how to play a pixel game isn't a special skill, being a pleasant person in the era of entitled manchildren bereft of actual life experience, is however a precious thing.
