Regarding Battlegrounds on Nostalrius

Blizzlike Queue + No multi queue =
- "best" premade controls top standings
- premades forced to play frequent games against each other
- No premades dodging or wintrading means PuG v PuG games happen often
- impossible to braindead/AFK/Chinabot for high standings

wake up Nostalrius staff please

I'm new here. My guild is looking for pvp and when we queue "pre-made" size anywhere from 4 of us to 10, we wait at least 15-20 mins per queue on horde. Is this working as intended? Does alliance pre-mades wait this long per queue? We haven't seen one under 15 minutes yet in a month of queuing and it's tough to get games.

Alliance have 5mins on the dot to get a pop in any bg when they queue as a raid group.
Horde on the other hand has to queue up and hit the alliance raid before their 5mins in queue runs out, else you would be sitting there for 25-40 minutes to end up in a game.

What usually happens when there is an alliance premade queueing and the horde makes a premade to face them, they play one or two matches against eachother then they allys would flee that bg completely and render all the time and effort spent by the horde to form a group useless. You simply cannot afford to sit in 30+ minute queues when you are ranking. As it would be far too little honor/hour for you to stand a chance to compete with the higher standings.

We(The majority of the players on Nostalrius, Horde & Alliance) needs NostDevs to either remove the 5minute premade staggering period & keep multiqueue disabled OR just disable Premade vs pug completely. This is what the server needs atm to keep at least a bit of fun left in the battlegrounds.

The only negative response able to be said about what i just wrote, is a response made by a shitmader ally who just wants to farm pugs for easy honor. Any sane person who tried playing BG's lvl 60 on nostalrius would agree to Ohgee's ideas and dislike the current system because it is bad for the majority of players on the server.
The goal is and should always be a healthy server.

Yours Sincerely,

I agree that blizzlike queues with no multi queue is best option.
Although i have to say that as alliance the current system seems fine, but the blizzlike queue/no multiqueue would probably be best for both factions.
Time and space, it's a crossroad through a gate, where do you go?

Ofc you think the current system is fine when you are running 4+ healers premades

1. Play the faction with better PvP racials
2. Complain when it's overpop and queues are imbalanced
3. ????
4. Reroll Alliance

Did you notice if it was different horde premades or the same one?

I hope something did change, even just to let alliance players know how bad it is on the horde side. It seems the only players who say "it's fine" are indeed alliance players. I assure you it's not fine. It's pretty broken.

I don't agree that anyone should hvae a 35 minute queue. If there are 15 players from each faction wanting to get a bg, they should be instantly put in a bg. It's that simple.

If NostDevs felt the system was broken before, I don't think they fixed it. Basically if I have the choice of getting in a BG instantly and maybe playing a pug, maybe playing a premade, or maybe playing an afk queue jumping team, or simply sit in Org. for 25 minutes. I'll take the first option every single time. We were the pre-made in retail smashing every pug for hours on end. They kept queuing, we kept playing. Occasionally, when we hit that other geared pre-made,we loved it, we fought our hearts out at the prospect of smashing another team. It made for some of the most thrilling and best BGs I've ever played. To come here and find out after having 20 players level to 60 just in time for them to change it is very disheartening. Rendering the part of the game we absolutely love the most, and single reason we came to the server, a shell of what it was. I hope it changes.

We have resorted to having 5 to 10 of our players single queue in a count down. It's been working with less of a queue time, but this isn't ideal, because there is a chance we'll miss playing with someone.
