Server Chinese Plague Problem

All that aside, my only request from the Nostalrius team right now is this:
Acknowledge the state of the server and tell us where you plan to take it, even if it takes another round of donations.

Literally, only this. I would just like to hear something.

Yeah, tons of people AFK and herb/mine in BG's. More people I talk to about AV do that than actually care about winning. It's not just Chinese.

However, I agree, there's been a big influx of them, and using English is a server rule. Also, if someone can confirm the lag/load distance issues are caused by the population then there's that too.

Just prevent players with chinese client from using the chinese charset in public channels.

Seems like the best suggestion here. Or yeah, give them their own server.

Also, people are taking this a little too far.....legitimate issues we're talking about:
-large amount of players unable to communicate in the server's language
-population starting to become an issue, causing server lag (confirm? do multiple high ping clients add to this?)

Issues not caused by Chinese population:
-AH prices
-AFK's in BG's
-Gold selling/powerleveling
^these are all a result of the high population or normal server mechanics, not specifically Chinese players.

I am in no means a senior expert on networking but, high ping clients should be eating more resources in theory. Since their route way is long => more package loss => more requests to server.

But they might also be requesting those packages from the routers along the way. As I said I am not an expert so take it with a grain of salt.

Judging by the sheer number of chinese names , they could at least fill up another PvE server . Chinese lvl 60 guilds often got 2 raid teams + bunch of toons , do the math. Also , just look around in the low level zones and do /who , you'll see a bunch.
Now I would really like to see "official" numbers from the nost stuff , or at least aknowledge their intent of fixing this situation we're in now . Im really curious about their proposed fix(es) .

They are a fucking plague. And it's only getting worse. Something needs to be done. it's really starting to make this server fucking suck.

It'll be hard, as they're almost all illegally connected through VPN pinging in USA or Eastern Europe.

This is an english server. They have 0 ways of communicating. They play like bots. They are the largest offenders of gold selling and exploiting. They are multiplying like a virus.

Admins we know this server is like your baby. Remove this initial infection of cancer before it spreads too large and kills your child.

One solution would be for devs to take actions or we have to collectively bully the chingchongs out of the realms and create most possible hostile environment for them so they leave and go Kronos.
