How is the world PvP while leveling up? post your thoughts

I enjoy every kill and every death because this is how it's meant to be.

PvP was awesome yet. Started here 1 week ago dinged 34 today and did alot of wpvp and bgs. As a rogue it's kind of easymode but still a decent threat when sprint and vanish are in cd or a high lvl comes who can see me through stealth. Planning on going to stv tomorrow to do the nesingwary quests . This will be a blast!
For me the best pvp experience since cataclysm on retail <3

I'm gonna be honest, it's quite frustrating. I don't wanna sound like I'm whining or something because it's not my intention, but I just don't see the point of world pvp. If I wanna pvp I go do a bg, even numbers, fair match with an objective to complete, that's how I see enjoyable pvp. wpvp is just about taking advantage of the opposite faction and killing them when they have nearly no chance to defend themselves (low life fighting mobs, much lower lvl, outnumbered) because that's what's happening, there's almost no fair fights in wpvp, I'm lvl 55 and I had maybe one or two honorable 1v1. I kinda understand why people get off on it, it makes them feel powerful and ruthless, the fact that they just gave the poor questing bastard a 5 min corpse run, and he will probably try to avoid them in the future. I kinda get it, but honestly I find this to be a pathetic way of trying to seem strong, but it the end it just makes you look like a huge coward. Again I'm not whining about this I'm just stating some facts, humans are humans and they will take advantage when they can even if it's very unfair. I'm always happy when an ally engages me and I can actually counter him. It just never happens because why the fuck would you attack someone if you know you might die and look stupid.

But that's exactly the lure of world pvp - that it's not fair and balanced.

Sure, it sucks donkey balls to get murdered in the middle of fighting a mob, but note down the other guys name and go hunt him down. Or just keep it in mind in case you run into him later and repay the favor.

As an ally priest, I hate shaman and anything undead, which is everyone that isn't a shaman or druid. Been fun along the way, only had a few skulls be a pita so far so thats nice. See ya out there.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't happen 24/7, I can't even fly to some places without getting ganked as soon as I land. I'm currently on a week or two break because of the fact I haven't been able to get out and level. Might not come back to be honest either, to frustrating to play and overall destroys the fun of the server, at least in my shoes.

The world PVP is a LOT of fun. Yeah of course it's going to suck sometimes and get destroyed by "SKULL" alliance.. But I get to gank others as well. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose!

I have yet to get out of the Horde controlled zones, but after reading this thread I'm pumped for wPvP. I played on PvE servers for years on retail, and when Cata/Panda/WoD was the current xpac all my ambitions to try out PvP went down the tube as it was wPvP that interested me the most (couldn't care less about Arenas, though Battlegrounds are always a hoot). I don't have the time comittment to raid, so was hoping I could take in the wPvP as I leveled, and stretch out my 1-60 experience. I think I'll fit in nicely, the whole concept of factions controlling swathes of territory in zones is intriguing and exciting! Any tips for the PvP novice, aside from growing a thick skin?

Keep your defensive CDs (from your sig, I assume you are a lock, so don't burn your Voidwalker's sacrifice unless in PvP combat) off CD for the times you get hit by surprise. Keep your mana above 60%. This means wand whenever you get near that point. Try not to aggro more than one mob at a time if you can help it. Don't life tap below 50% health, or don't do it at all if you can help it. Always remember to have fun!

How to be horde in world pvp on Nostalrius for dummies.
(applies for leveling/endgame)
Rule 1 - If you ecounter alliance member in 1vs1 situation, run away or try to avoid him. Hope he does not engage you, then you'll have to run from the graveyard.
Rule 1 *exception - If the alliance member is fighting mobs and is below 60% hp - attack (maybe use some cooldowns to be sure).
**do not attack if it's just one mob and it looks like he's finishing it off. Run.
Rule 2 - If you have at least 2 buddies with you and encounter a single alliance member, all attack him (spamming cooldowns in the process). Enjoy then go on pvp forums and talk about your skills.
