Well as we both know bgs have a tactical task to fullfill
Los does ad for example a minor tactical advantage for a single flag carrier being trained while his team is out of reach or death...
Its not like a chess game but being able to utilize the environment will help in fights where u are at a disadvantage... its not about outplaying... it simply adds possibilities for you while playing, and thus can be applied as tactical
1 Thing being every attacking enemy is in sight of u and therefore u can judge a situation better and for example adjust your way as an efc avoiding the burst from behind a tree that u would not be able to avoid otherwise

Adding LoS to the midfield will make the skillcap higher and let people interract more with the enviroment and thus be able to outplay/outsmart other players and even out gear differences. (This has been said in the thread, but needs to be said again.)

If there is no LoS, then it will be promoting all kinds of shit setups, playing with 4 healers and a tank just walking slowly across mid, because there is no reason to play smart, just PvE with healer assignments and you're fine.

There will be no need to jump behind LoS to juke that mage trying to sheep you, because he will just get that sheep through the tree anyways, so even if you are a much better player than him, you cannot do anything to outplay him. (Yes, skull, scorpid surprise, getting dispells but you get my point) So you might aswell just stand out in the open and hope no one decides to cc you...

Or if we take a poorly geared druid for example, you're in mid with low to no support with 2-3 enemies training you, if you don't do anything very soon you are dead. A mage starts casting on you and he's standing next to the tree -> Quickly feral charge him, into travel form and go around the tree, losing everyone on you, making them not able to follow you.. This is very basic stuff, which anyone who has any kind of idea how PvP works would know, but clearly people in this thread don't.

Without LoS, that shitty warlock will do a 30yrd coil through the tree when your reflector is on cd and you die. Yeah very nice, very outskilled...

Devs, this is a no-brainer, just make the Trees break LoS. Please.

Oh, and I play hunter, so don't even think about any of that "hurr only melee are crying" shit..

Antility, you might actually read what people say, here is the reason you have been asking for, read what's in quote

The difference between the other "custom" changes that Nostalrius has, for example pre 1.4 gear & old AV is that they have all existed on retail and in vanilla. Which in my opinion allows them to still classify it as blizzlike.

This however has never existed in vanilla or ever on retail which makes it a 100% custom feature.
It can be compared with wanting to add a fatigue feature because "Lol, how can your character run all the time without getting tired? That's not realistic wtf".

This should have clarified things.

idiot, you are going to cast shadowbolts through a tree do you realize that?you take the example of realism others have mentioned and you try to shit over it with your nonsense about some mechanic that never existed in wow, on the other hand line of sight exists already in wow, they just didn't give a shit to implement it in trees aswell that's why everyone insists that its actually a bug fix, people aren't suggesting something out of the ordinary, its just you and a few retards that try to spoil with their bullshit something that makes complete sense in wow pvp by crying blizzlike blizzlike blizzlike, you make no fucking sense, and because you have no fucking business in wow pvp mechanics if you are talking against line of sight, shut up and let the pvp veterans in this forum have the last word on this matter.

You re wrong, they added LOS in every aspect of the game in every new expansion because for everyone with 1 working braincell its pretty obvius that it helps for tactics and strategy and gives a balance between classes and melee/Ranged dps...but hey maybe you dont evn have a brain cell right?

Los does exist for some reason inside the tunnel of wsg or on the roof...
Its not a mechanic never implemented...

Dunno what to say anymore. :D
Lol'ed so hard mrmr :D

If you think playing 2,4k+ rated bg's is to pro, thanks i'm feelin' special now, but tbh it's not even that high :D
cheers to old ppl of piRATS and fameLY btw.

Nvm. I won't argue here anymore, caus acting srs and listing vailid arguements will be gimme the same respond than blaming ppl for there baddieness.

I got just one question to all those "blizz" idiets.
Would love to read a srs and honest answer now, but i doubt that even this will force them to think. :D :D :D

Why you guy's think everyone in here, who played pvp succesfully wanna have this change and why you "blizzhard" guys don't wanna have it.

To increase the chance, that you guys actually start thinking.
"Because it never has been there" that is not an answer to my question.
I asked why every player with a good knowledge of pvp wanna have it and why you don't wanna have it?
That's the question.

Not trees and stumps, but still.

I dont remember this. I played war back then and i dont remember being clipped through objects, but its too long ago to remember :P Today, im used to hiding behind objects. But there it is in plain sight, casting through the logs.
