Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am currently doing a lot of BGs to get a good rank next week, but I keep hearing some people talk about a cap for how many ranks I can achieve each week.

Is there a cap, and if so how many per week?

I can't remember one back in vanilla, but then again I was never hardcore about it.

You can do 3 ranks per week up to 6 and 6-8 is possible in a week but getting that standing probably not going to happen.

Well if it's 3 a week, and then 2 after 6. Would the 3 a week from 4 count towards rank 7, or will I gain the 2 per week cap after I get enough for 6?

I am rank 4 30% atm, with close to 200k honor this week atm.

I feel like the system can be awfully complicated.

calculate ur RP.
Then calculate the rp til next rank.

U can also calculated a 100% RP and then transform it in honor.

Calculation must show the 20% loss / 15% mitigation.

Edit: I just realized something important. I didn't read one portion of the honor thread correctly.

Which means that the honor I got was from the 80k honor I got the week before, which then makes sense with the rank I achieved.

Reading things slow is a smart thing to do.

The honor system makes a lot more sense now.
