Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello, there !

My name is Krom. As a veteran World of Warcraft player for around 9 years now, but just considering myself as a random average-skilled player who like to discover and experiment each time new ways to play, I've always focused myself on PVP, wich is imo way more cool and nervous than repeating same dungeons and raids for years.

Lately a lot of people (PVP-lovers from other realms) have asked me what is the point on the topic on Nostalrius server. Rather than claiming a 100% personal opinion, I tend to provide the same general test, wich allow people to see for themselves.

The test is the following ; Entering as a level 60 pug, making 10 following battlegrounds, then come back to the server forums to comment them, as objective as possible.

Premade NOPE Alliance 2000 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Around 8 Horde Afk's.
Alliance farm GY and Hordies wait in ghost mode far from the resurrect.

#2 WSG

Premade NOPE Alliance 3 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Rank 13 Night Elf Warrior with several pocketheals prevents only by himself any Hordie to live 10s out of GY.

#3 AB

Premade Alliance 2000 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Around 6 Horde Afk's.

#4 AB

Alliance PuG 0 / 2000 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Horde rush all bases then go farm GY.

#5 WSG

Alliance Premades 3 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Horde prefers to stay at base trying to get some HK's better than Afk'ing in the background.

#6 AB

Alliance Premades 2000 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Some Afk'ers but still a bit progress.

#7 WSG

Alliance Premades 3 / 0 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
The chosen one in Alliance base is probably a rogue.

#8 WSG

Alliance PuG 0 / 2000 Horde PuG. Game Time : 5 min.
Horde rush all bases then go farm GY.

#9 AB

Alliance PuG 380 / 2000 Horde PuG. Game Time : Around 12 min.
Actually a cool game. Horde made a bus then proceeded to pick all nodes one by one, leaving Alliances with only one last, making some of them leaving the battleground then loosing obviously.

Around 8 Horde Afk's.

horde need to start running more premades. on my alliance character u always see people in trade/world lfg/lfm premades and you rarely see this on horde.

More like horde are autismo kids who can't talk to other people so grouping up is impossible.

not enough alliance joining and you can't force them to no matter how much we wish we could, alliance are just not really into PvP,after the NOPE premade gets their ranks PvP will die amazingly fast without AV ( the battleground blizz made so alliance could win,fuck that bridge) so enjoy it while you can.

Well at least you often get to win 5-0 bases against people just dodging AB, so you have that going for you, which is nice.

Rough life. But to be expected coming out into the honor season post 2 months+ late vs so many ranked. Little you can do but get in there anyway, gear where you can in dungeons, and kill in the world, just to make a name for yourself(if valid) to get involved in your own premade.
