It's quite obvious, really. Perception is not something that can influence PvP at the same level Escape Artist does.

I agree, Perception only helps against stealthed cat-form druids or rogues. Escape Artist is much more flexible. The bonus to Engineering is certainly nice as well. It's why I say that for PvP, there are two races: Gnomes and Undead.

The Escape Artist and Will of the Forsaken racials are just far too useful to pass up for serious PvPers.

Sucks that the upgrade to Sprint that mirrors Escape Artist is 12 points into Combat, the PvE spec of Rogues. Kinda makes utilizing it as a PvP character aggravating since that's 12 points not spent on other talents.
