Invisible mage ?

Hello, I wonder on starting on this server, and i have a question about how it was on vanilla because I don't remember so far.

1. First of all, how was working mage spell which is giving invisibility? Is it effective in PvP? When a invisibile person is getting detected?

irrc the mages going invisible and doing PoM Pyro all used the Gnomish Cloaking Device

you can be detected by warlocks using the Detect Lesser/Greater Invisibility and by anyone consuming an Elixir of Detect Lesser Invisibility

Well , as a mage you just need to go at some Place with ice blocks and just Pop iceblock and pretend ur an Iceblock,
