Can anyone explain to me how a player could have dissapeared instantly mid pvp combat?

It was a shaman so I was wondering if he could use Nature swfitness + Astrall recall to make an instant escape? from what i understood it was only meant to work with nature spells and also cant be used in combat.

(same as invis potions)
