Pros and cons? Never played a priest. and semi played some pala twinks, but not at 60+

pally if you like to melee, priest if you prefer casting. None of the pvp gear is for healing but you can off-heal.

priest healer gameplay is offensive - dispell, dots, MC/MB etc
paladin is more defense with rare switches to HoJ or reck bomb [if spec allows it], but way harder to kill and almost imposible to CC with proper gadgets/consums used in additional to good bos timing

due to amount of tryhard undead mages on horde side playing priest should be real fun, 24/7 cced when skull/restorative on CD

Paladin is the stronger choice if you are just pugging/going solo, because without peels priests just get messed up. Freedom, bos, and able to cleanse viper sting is just so helpful. But also priests can be a bit more fun just because of more spell variety and spec choices. Either way go dwarf, bis racial for healers
