Are the BG queues on Alliance side significantly shorter?

I'm fed up with waiting 40mins for a BG to pop up, thinking about rerolling Alliance if the queues are any better. Are they or is it basically the same thing?

Btw I've been wondering why are the queues so long in the first place, if there are so many people on this server thenit should be only natural that the queues are short. What's the logic behind it? The more people queue up the longer the queue? Makes no sense.

Why it doesn't make sense, since there are a lot more horde in queue than alliance? That's why horde usually wait 10-20 minutes (according to what I've heard) while Alliance side usually have instant pops
But remind that pugging on ally side is a lil bit of a pain :P Although I've won few games in pug v pug

I thought the H:A was about 55%H 45%A which isn't that, but it seems it does make a huge difference when it comes to queue times ;/

60 queus are instant every time for ally. Both battlegrounds. I think maybe twice I had to wait longer than a minute and was genuinely shocked xD.

Don't know about horde but ally pugging is terrible. Find a good ally premade and it's great, sure you will probably need to dodge the r13 no lifers but with instant queue doesn't matter.

The disparity of 60s is higher in favor of the horde, and more horde players pvp in general.
