Weapon skill racials, defense and PvP

I know that in vanilla PvP, weapon skills are considered maxed, as well as defense.

Im curious about, lets say, the human's sword/mace bonus, or the orc's axe bonus. Do those get factored into pvp at all? Would it leave your weapon skill at 305 instead of 300?

Also lets say a warrior has the protection talent that increases defense, or you have gear with +defense on it. Does that do anything in PvP?

SHARE WITH ME YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Honestly, i am not sure if having defense lowers your chance of being hit in PVP or if having more Weapon skill increases your chance to hit, I would assume NO, otherwise people would abuse it and Defense stacking WSG flag running for example would be the only way to go about it, but that is not the case.

What I know tho, is that weapon skill increases your Crit chance with that weapon type and that is always beneficial in pvp, so max out your weapon skills.

If you're a tank in tank gear, of course you'd be a pain in the ass to kill compared to a mage/rpiest. Of course a druid bear is a pain in the ass to kill. Of course these defense and weapon skills matter in pvp. Of course you can google and find these values and their application/values on wowwiki or some shit.

Of course all you have to do is look and read.
