Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

There is something that separates some players from others, or at least myself, from being able to loot corpses in AV. I've played AV since it released, and I've been turning in the quest items to the NPCs to attempt to give our side the advantage, but I really can't compare to some of these guys.

I'll spam shift click the corpse even while being attacked and it'll seem that other players will get a near instant loot of the corpse, perhaps they have a better connection? I usually have 160-200ms (green) connection, but these other players, who are not turning in the quest rewards, are nearly impossible to compete with.

I've become frustrated enough to post something here after watching the chat box and see how consistently the same few players in a game will loot every corpse killed within a small radius even though they're surrounded by other players. Are these players who are looting every corpse have no advantage? Is there an addon for looting instead of channeling to loot? I don't understand how the difference can be so vast.

probably an addon, or other people only focus on looting... I'm almost exalted and have killed several hundred players solo but I haven't got the chance to loot a troll mojo yet... I've even dotted and ran up next to them and never have been fast enough for a loot. I guess it doesn't matter though, horde should fear my presence.. especially cow warriors.

idd pretty much this. some people only stand there looting. not fighting. i barely get anything looted myself despite often being among the highest killing blows and hk there ( so there with alot of the fights)

But me not getting them looted isnt the frustrating part, what frustrates me is that these people only loot the stuff that gives money. and screw armor scraps, and storm crystals. most of these people leave before even turning these things in. the horde seems a bit more focused with turning these in. They always have elite npc and the icelord way first. even if its a turtle on the ally bridge. people are just greedy fucks who want money and rather screw the game for that

I did it during my AV grind.

Your latency is probably one of the reason, i usually have around 20-30ms.

I made 260g on my way to exalted...There's no addons that will automatically loot corpses for you (except for a hack I saw posted once, but I don't recommend that).

quite sure alot of people do use it tho, because how bad it might be i try to loot things very quickly with shift click too, so after an hour or so i want to turn in my armor scraps. i can turn it in 4 whole times. and then some guy like monkeynews walks in and spams the armor scrap q for about 20 times if not more. if you look at the chat loot wise it is always a small group of people that alway get the loot in av. and even if you instantly click shift click the corpse chances are you are waaaaaayyyyy to late

No cool hacks or exploits despite what the gms/devs might say about me, sorry. Just very low ping. Like 13ms so looting/intetactions are fast. For fast turn-ins of scraps, etc. There are macros you can use. I use lazypig though i wouldn't recommend it. Theres no knowing what they will ban for next.
