Warlock pvp

I recently stumbled upon this server and have decided to roll a toon here instead of going back into retail.


My question is, how are locks in pvp vanilla? Can they survive a rogue opener?

I like the lock class but If a rogue is going to 1 shot me in his opener then I will just roll a rogue lol.

I'd hope locks stand somewhat of a chance in pvp as i havent had a chance to play during the vanilla hype days and only started playing during b.c.

I have played both classes from b.c-cata so just probably go with the more op of the two.

but in general warlocks are awesome class for battlegrounds

I had no problem against rogues as affli and now at 45 when i can switch to SL spec its even easier (hello 40% physical absorb). Just always be prepared - have void with you, healthstone, soulstone and keep health high.

At 60 SL warlock is the strongest 1v1 class. Its also fun to play contrary to some vanilla classes (like ench shaman or hunter)

If you go horde , just keep in mind there is a lot of warlock , so its quite hard to get a spot in raid group/
