AV Dun Baldar needs a rework NOW.

Horde can't even move inside the base without aggroing every NPC there is, and most of the times
there are elites that will go directly to the healers because there aren't any tanks looking to build
agro on all NPCs - and it shouldn't be needed in the first place.

We just lost an AV - AGAIN - because the NPCs at Dun Baldar kept respawning and attacking / wiping
the healers and constantly delaying horde... this happens every AV.

And what is more rediculous is that the devs are planning an event apparently to show "how perfect" AV
is at the moment... even with all these things that favors alliance "blizzlike"..

Its NOT WORKING properly when you let one side have a clear advantage in a pvp-instance like this.

The NPCs needs to have their agro turned completely off due to their close proximity to the flag and
the route to the flag. Currently there are elites everywhere in the DB-base and they will agro
you at every important object.


ANYONE who has played both sides will agree that the Horde base in a walk-in compared to Dun Baldar..

FIX THIS before you do your "perfect AV event".

Lol... i cant stand loosing bgs pls fix. If you guys would defend your base correctly alliance wouldnt even reach the towers:-)

Diggot, every AV I've been in with you has been miserable. All you do is bitch and moan about how stupid everyone else is. I'd rather spend 3 hours in a turtle than listen to you whine for even a minute more.

He has a point. What do you mean defend your base correctly? Alliance base is simply stronger. So horde would require to be 10 more to reach the same power of the alliance defense with 10 people less, so thats imbalanced. Balance things out please

heradua, that was the glory of AV pvp back in vanilla. People would actually turtle (aka pvp) and work as a team even though they had no idea how to work as a team or why they were doing so. Also, I agree.. please fix. -.- It's ok for it to be imbalanced, but jesus. This is a bug that takes it from imbalanced to impossibly broken.

The problem is that ground assault doesn't work and cavalry/elemental events are not repeatable, so people ussualy want to avoid turtling at the first place. Nostalrius has to fix those issues to make turtle AV feel progressive.

We just lost another AV simply because the goddamn NPCs were constantly respawning,
we had to kill them 3-4 times and it delayed our dps enough for alliance to kill Drek before we even got to
start on Vanndar !.

The NPCs at the alliance base are so close to the AS-flag that they agro the horde-guards !.

Make the NPCs near the flag NON-AGRO or simply move them away. Its enough that a lowlevel player
rides up to the flag and EVERY NPC will get agro and start nuking all other hordeplayers.

This isn't going to be fixed. It's how blizzard intended it. Even after they started butchering this BG, it was still always skewed for the Alliance. They never at any point fixed its unfair design in all the years I played. This BG needed to go back to the drawing build for its terrain, bases, and NPCs, but they couldn't ever be bothered. They instead took it in a different direction(the wrong one, as usual), making it faster and slicing out everything that made it fun.

Nostalrius can fix the mistakes blizzard did. Even though base terrain of alliance is on their advantage. They can fix this thing by and make things less horribly imbalanced by increasing respawn meters of both alliance and horde NPCs and decrease their health pool cause they are god damn vendors, not guards. The guards are 10 times weaker than the vendors, how does that even make sense?

Nostalrius could at least fix ground assault so people would foll turtle methods so even if alliance has stronger base it doesn't matter that much. I hope they do something about it.
