outnumbered alliance, why?

I'm a casual player doing a few battlegrounds in the afternoons (server time) and lately 9 out of 10 AB and WSG games aliiance is ether severily outnumbered at first, sufficient for the horde to gain an advantage and the remaining alliance that joined up jsut AFK-give up. or people leaving the current BG to join whatever other queue they were on, even though the player balance was looking good. or just plain alliance severily outnumbered from start to end. As for AV, the same i witness only losses. (in about 20 games over 3 weeks i've seen only one alliance win). Why is this happening? Can't something be done about this? Can someone on the nostalrius team answer?

Because alliance are filled generally with casual or less players in PvP like yourself.

No, it's just about the queue system and premades queuing for 2 BGs at once and obviously only entering one of these.

Could be quite easily improved though

Yes, something probably about the queue sistem that causes this player-letargy in the first place. Queue up for 10 WGSs in the afternoon, and reply here in how many were alliance outnumbered to begin at the start of the game. How does the system work? can we get a dev to answer this? if 30 horde queue up and 15 alliance, does the game pair 3 battlegrounds 10 horde vs 5 alliance each? or 10h vs 10a, 10h vs 5a, and 5h remain in queue? once again i'm asking this because i'm noticing a horrible imbalance in player numbers joining.

It's obvious how the queue system works:

0 alliance in queue
30 horde in queue (1 of which is a 10/15 man premade)

alliance pug queues, nothing happens
alliance premade queues, WSG + AB queue pops

alliance sends in a spy into AB, if there is a horde premade in AB and it doesn't dodge --> they go WSG

What happens to the AB which the alliance premade left?
It now is a 15v0

Solo queuing alliance players will eventually join in, it now is a 15v5

(It's not only about premades, you always queue for 2 BGs at once and only join one of these, this results in 15v5 etc.)

Well, the way you put it Dreez, and while it may explain some of the things solo-queueing players like me experience (although i personally think there's more to it) alliance pugs only get a *fair chance* to win every several games at best.
I'm sorry no, pairing rules like these feel WAY off. This was not the PvP blizz experience back in the day, even for casual gamers. Sure we had bad times and good times, but nothing like *this* exagerated imbalance (keep in mind premades weren't invented yesterday ofc) blizzlike pairing WAS better.
Once again, can someone on the Nostalrius team offer some insight?

Wanna go further?

Gather 10 players as alliance (instant queue pops)

Queue WSG and AB, 2 BGs opened up.
Drop queue, wait 20 seconds for single pugs to join in.

Queue WSG and AB, 2 new BGs open up

repeat until the horde team you are wintrading with gets instant queue pops and can do the same

--> free honor!!!

This is the problem, multi q multiple bgs at once
