Quick questions here.
- Was it announce when new stats rank 10 pvp gear will be introduce ?
Cause i'm actually hunter, the class with the most unbalanced pvp gear. If you want have fun : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?itemset=361 (no joke)

- will we be able to buy it on launch if we had the required rank before but not anymore, like it's now on live server ?

- The new R10 sets should be added with the ZG patch along with the stats updates on epic sets and weapons.
- Most likely, you will need to be R7 in order to buy the new R7 gear, R8 to buy the new R8 gear and R10 for the new R10 pieces.
The only reliable post doesn't really state it, but you can read it between the lines :

So we don't actually know if it will needed to keep a rank to optain new items.
The only thing make me think the opposite is that we can buy highest rank pieces now, even if we fall in rank. Hope it will not change.

Yep it's quite unclear.

I'm thinking you won't be able to get R8 items without being R8 at the moment of the purchase because it concerns different items as those you get to keep.
But who knows. Between blizzlike and custom nostalrius specifics, anything can happen pretty much.

They have announced that you do not need to be the exact rank to buy the PvP gear once the lv.60 blue sets are released if you achieved the required ranks in the past.
However you need to be R6 or higher to access the vendors.

I was wondering about this aswell, since I'm currently ranking towards 10.

Would make sense to not have to re-rank, since you will still have your "highest rank" in your honor tab. So rank 6 should be the only requirement (to be able to enter the pvp vendor area). I do not recall how it was in retail but I know that on other private servers this has been the case.

Honestly if the case is that in retail vanilla you had to re-rank, Nost staff should seriously think again if they want to copy that. The honor system is punishing as it is, also imagine you play a warrior to r14 and then you will need to within that 1 week you are r14 have the gold for all r14 weps you'd like (basically all of them including shield lol). Quite a hefty amount of gold that you either had to save up before or farm during that 1 week. Looking at many of the current high ranks, they do not look like the richest players out there for sure. But this is just a side-point really.

Would be nice of the staff to make a post that clearifies this.

Hello Sethzer, and thanks for your answer. Did they annouce that on forum ? Never found a trace of it.

Actually i go down to rank 5 recently and was still able to go the officier room.

Perhaps they are going for "highest rank" to get to the vendors too, tho don't think that's blizzlike.

Hello Sethzer do you have a source on the fact that I still buy the new R10 items if I lose my Rank 10? I would like to make sure, so I can stop maintaining my rank in this premade wintrading hell
