[How to] Wyvern and Gryphons in Alterac Valley

[How to] Wyvern and Gryphons in Alterac Valley

Hi, so playing Alterac Valley everyday i noticed that this Air Assault has never been launched and here i wanna bring awareness to it and how to do it.

There are 3 Wing Commanders for each side, horde and alliance. They are in the enemy base and need to be freed.
Once freed they will start running towards the own base. And you should run with them to protect from heavy attack and escort them to our base.
(Here one Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDn4Rg5K7q4)

Once they are in your base, they will have a quest where you can turn in items that you can gather by looting PvP Insignias (Dead body).

If you want to know which item you need, you can go to the Wing Commander in your base and click on him. Then you can see it.

After turning in enough of these items they will start offering a Beacon or a direct attack. (You should always get the beacon first and let more people get the beacon before you launch the direct attack.)

Here you can see a Wyvern at the beginning of the Video: https://youtu.be/_WvScFAbwTI
Or here a Gryphon: https://youtu.be/0ttRR8XkTQI

Things that are preventing this Air Assault to happen are:
1. People Shift-looting constantly for Gold Quests and thus taking away the items required for Air Assault and not turning them in.
2. Loot-Bug that prevents you from looting the required items for Air Assault for about 80% of the time. You can see the blinking corpses. All of them have that item inside which cannot be looted.

Unless some serious bugfixes were applied, you wont be seeing any Wing Commanders at work. They currently engage anything on their way from captivity to base, so usually some leutenant or mine layer just kills them. I dont think this is correct behavior, but I dont have any proof against it. So, the way things are, you would need a small raid to escort the NPC.
all is now dark
