How good is the playerbase?

In your experience, I imagine it has to be better than what players were in vanilla. Would you say the PvP player base are around perhaps rival or duelist lvl on retail with a few glads or is the average player a challenger?

Being a multi glad is a requirement to even create a character on a Vanilla private server so I'm not totally sure what you're asking

None of them here are as good as they'd like to think. That's why all the 60s sit in Org all day not doing shit except trolling chat.

on Alliance side there are alot of bad players who respond very badly, to even mild constructive critqiue

On average people are much better than retail players, but theres still plenty of terrible players/retards most of which are russian. The good russian players are amazing but the bad ones are like a target dummy with down syndrome

I disagree. I feel like, especially in PvP, there aren't alot of good players. In PvE it's just the same for me atleast. People don't know how to keep aggro, and people don't know how to control it.
People on retail nowadays somewhat know their shit. Atleast on EU.

You would think that alot of people come here because they are tired of the "easy" gameplay of WoD, but in actuality there are alot of people that are just tired of lacking content, don't want to pay to play, or just want to relive some memories.

Just go into a bg and count the amount of times you get dispelled out of CC or get counterspelled. And if you get countered, it's just a counter into a useless school.

I played in bc/wrath, quit, and now I'm playing here. Players don't seem to be any better or worse at pvp. There's good players and bad players, in bgs not enough healers and most players trying to be a one man army just like it's always been.

Probably this, though I'd have to admit I pay more attention to how or what other people are playing than I did in retail. In PvP in most cases it feels like people overspecialized way too much and as a result perform much more poorly than they perhaps otherwise could (meaning fury warriors in leather, rogues that hardly break 2.7k HP).
