The factional pvp-communities (discussion)

Hey all! Just making this quick post regarding world-pvp and how one-sided it is.
I assume not a lot of people understand the core/history to why Horde generally has a more active pvp-community, for those interested here's a good read with some semi-factual links and more
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/534914-world-of-warcraft/69626231 So take your time to read this! Good. It's essential for the discussion.
Yeah better get this out of the way too so no trolls pick up on this, it's not a rant post or anything,
I enjoy the constant pvp-battle, ganking/ganked is a part of PvP and the game. However, as most alliance members who have leveled up on this server know, it's pretty much one-sided on Nost.
I've checked some past threads regarding server-pop and they say it's about 50-50, perhaps in characters but not in active players.
Alliance players have it rough pretty much wherever they level and I don't need to mention STV even, which has been a battlefield in the hands of the Horde ever since May/June or perhaps even before, with high lvl hordes coming to rescue or helping out their lower members.
What I think is wee problematic, this type of (pvp)community does not exist within the alliance. And I mean anywhere. Alliance players helping out is generally not something we seen to the same extend. We stick to ourselves, with other goals in mind. Again I remind you to read my posted link if you haven't.
I'd like to hear anecdotal stories from both sides. What are your thoughts about this? Does it seem fair? Good or bad?
I personally encourage every player from both factions to battle, it's fun and how the game is meant to be played!
But I know I share the same feeling as many alliance I've seen lvling up, it feels very pointless at times when being outnumbered and overpowered.
Cheers all! Hoping this discussion can be as serious as possible.
