Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

What happened here,

Lvl 29 mage who week before went from grunt to sergeant with 6500 honor and a standing of 2214.
This last week with WSG w\end bonus got 12014 honor with 646 kills and rose to a standing of 1456.Had no rank increase,exactly the same third of way thro sergeant.
You can see i doubled all my previous weeks stats,yet not a 1% increase on the rank bar ,what gives??.
Took a long time to get that much honor and kills in wsg over the w/end...
It'll take some effort to get same honor this week and not knowing if b credited for it is a bit offputting to say the least. Is this character bugged out and unable to get rank??

Because you are required to be level 33 to reach rank 4.

I'm pretty sure the max level for 1-29 is 6

To OP: I don't know how leveling works a low level, I just know it's much slower than when you are level 60.

I have the "World of Warcraft Master Guide" Second Edition Strategy Guide for Vanilla and it specifically lists the following level requirements for ranks..
Rank 1-3 No level requirement.
Rank 4: Level 33
Rank 5: Level 38
Rank 6: Level 41
Rank 7: Level 44
Rank 8: Level 46
Rank 9: Level 48
Rank 10: Level 51
Rank 11: Level 53
Rank 12: Level 55
Rank 13: Level 57
Rank 14: Level 60
I can upload a screenshot if you guys don't believe me, but that is what is listed in the official strategy guide. That's the only explanation that makes sense anyway considering at level 36 I went from rank 1 to rank 4 with 12k honor.... This guy was already rank 3 and got the same amount of honor but gained no standing. I'd also be willing to bet that the OP is capped at 99.99% progress through rank 3.

Don't worry. You secretly still make rank progress. Each time you lvl up (and relog) you will see your rank will increase as the limit increases, for what you would have without limit. I tested it my self. I was basically getting rank for leveling up from 30-40 felt great

are you sure about that if i remember corectly when i did bg at 20+ there were some players with rank 4
