Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So for those that don't know the pvp mounts you get at rank 11 only require 75 riding skill, even though they're epic mounts.

I'm wondering though, if you get one at 75 riding, will it function as an epic mount moving at 100% speed, or will it only move at 60% until you get 150 riding? I asked around in game but I keep getting mixed responses.

I read on wowhead or somewhere that with patch 1.12, riding skill was changed and the pvp mounts now required 150, all characters that had a pvp mount at 75 riding were upgraded to having 150. Will the same thing happen on nostalrius later on?

Also, do you need to have exalted reputation to buy another race's pvp mount, or can you buy any you want when you get rank 11? It would suck to grind that high of rank and then realize I can't buy the mount I want after the fact.

You don't need reputation for PvP mounts, and never will.

Patch 1.12 is already in effect on Nostalrius regarding mounts, nothing will change.

On retail, PvP players who owned PvP mounts before the patch were granted the 150 Riding Skill when the patch 1.12 went live, but PvP mounts never changed to require 150 skill : "As of 1.12.1, players with PvP or Wintersaber mounts will get Journeyman riding skill, although the mounts only require Apprentice riding skill."
