RP-PvP Guild, Alliance

Hello all, I wanted to get a message out to the PvP community. I feel like it's mostly the same people posting here but maybe there are more than I think. And hopefully there are people in PvP social circles that can talk about this to their friends.

I have created a guild with the ultimate intention of consolidating the Alliance players who are looking for a certain thing on Nostalrius. I'll just list off the ideas behind it.

Organized World PvP events designed to fight level 60 players.
Battleground premades for day-to-day fun and getting PvP gear.
Gatherings before and after World PvP outings for role playing (if members want this).
Opportunities to raid with a guild that needs someone to fill out its raids.

Is it correct to say that right now most of the PvPers on the server are in raiding guilds and just do their own thing? I'm only aware of one other guild that seems serious about this sort of thing, Hellfyre Club, but I'm slightly suspicious. I don't want to say anything bad because I'm not well informed, so I won't share my opinions right now.

In any case, I'm searching for members. I'm looking for talented players with extensive PvP experience plus people who are just into the idea, including RPers. People just have to be serious about leveling to 60. At the moment I have 17 members. Among us are three former Battlemasters and an R2 Gladiator, plus a two-time Gladiator who simply wants to stay guildless.

I'm personally in the US and players active during the NA evenings are preferred, but I know this server is very internationalized. A few of the players I've found so far are EU or Aus. Please whisper me or send a message if you're interested! It's called the <Guild of Ironforge>

I'm interested to hear others' thoughts on this.

Finally, I've been looking for someone like you.

I lead a full guild called <Frostwolf Clan> which is RP-WPVP (world PvP), and a newly made guild called <The Defilers>, lead by an experienced leader, in effort to expand our forces.

We have been looking for a rivalry for a long time, I always wanted to have an alliance guild to organize world PvP events with. However, if its not too late, I suggest you to rename your guild into one of the alliance forces : Silverwing Sentinels/The League of Arathor/Stormpike Guard, for the sake of representing our rivalry. For whatever members you have, it is quite easy to make a MOTD telling them to move and contact people in the new guild.

We could do world PvP events in contested zones. However we are a world PvP focused guild, and basically we want a world PvP rivalry that doesn't stick much to ranking ^^ That's it.

I may contact you in-game if I can aswell

Hey, Simonich

I think having a rivalry is great idea. However, we are going to be ranking. My idea is that organized World PvP will only happen a few times a week and the rest of the time people will play in BGs (or raid, etc). I was in an RP-PvP guild before and they had a rival guild. Based on the way our fights went I think I was the only person who took PvP seriously, and when the other guild stopped having fun I got kicked. So if you're thinking about swinging sticks around and LARPing that's not what I'm going for.

When naming the guild I tried to consider every aspect. I kind of wanted to name it after a battleground faction, but I didn't feel like any of their motivations would lead to attacking Horde settlements in Kalimdor. Nor did I feel like a Gnome would be entrusted with leadership. Besides, Stormpike Guard is already in use.
It is named the "Guild of Ironforge" is because of the ideas I have for role playing. It is vague enough that a number of ideas could be put to practice, and inclusive enough that any race or class could make sense as a member. I want the PvP to succeed before anything else.
So my idea for RP is that the guild was commissioned by the King of Ironforge to handle missions of special interest to the throne that the regular army is not suitable for.

Swinging sticks and LARPing? My guild is preparing for total zone domination :D, but in cases of guild rivalry, it would be 10v10 fights in places like blasted lands or arathi etc, or hillsbrad. Maybe more people too. I'm just not into ranking, at a certain point itstarts to feel forced, not worth it.

Just saw your foray into Dun Morogh. Alliance swarmed hard.
