I was wondering how long or big of a time investment would it take to become rank 10/Champion?

Rank 10 is extremely obtainable because of the Nost population size. it's significantly easier to get r10 and even r11 here than it was on retail (and 5000x easier than previous private servers). r13 and r14 still require an extended period of no life mode though.

here you can do r10 at any pace you want really, there is no rank freezing like feenix so you can't take breaks, but the size of the player pool makes progress at lower ranks super easy as long as you at least consistently play BGs. you could probably play BG's for a mere 2-3 hours per day and eventually get r10 here to be honest.

so, let's say you're starting your grind at r3 or r4, you could get r10 in a matter of weeks if you played 16+ hours per day. or you could play more casual hours and it'll just take longer. just play whatever hours you're comfortable with until you start to get higher in rank. decay is hardly even a factor here until around r10 anyway.

16+ hours per day? None can do that!

What about 2 hours per day?

2 hours per day ist just fine for rank 10, try to get above 80k honor/week and get a bit more in the last 2-3 weeks (~120k)

It still takes some dedication if you want to get there quickly. If you're on Horde, aim for about 200k honor per week to gain a rank a week, probably more once you get to 8 or 9 and of course that honor will likely get you a couple ranks in the 3-5 range. This is easier said than done when you are facing 15 min queues and a plethora of curb-stomping Ally premades. Good luck!

Im only level 33 at the moment, but this gives me something to look forward too. ) I just remember becoming rank 10 or 11 was quite quite difficult during retail vanilla times, and I havent ever really been much of a PvPer, so I really dont know these things very well.

try to get rank 5-6 before you hit level 60
