Will the GMs ever do something about the constant afking in WSG / AB?

I've noticed how literally every game there's atleast 4 ppl afking in spawn only moving an inch every 2 minutes. Is this allowed even if it's not done by a bot or anything like that?

Pugging BGs if you're in it for the honor is extremely frustrating.

This is ally side btw it's been a while since I did horde side BGs.

Here's a list of some all-star afkers I've found so far during AB weekend.

Hooligan - Really good at sitting stealthed in spawn for the full duration of the game.

Veilgo - Insanely skilled at afking "ST defending".

Beamon - Nelf male swifty lookalike warrior, hasn't seen him actually play more than clicking join BG so I dunno if he's good

These are my personal top 3.

the current queue system, which is not Blizzlike, forces the majority of players to PuG. Because there are less players premading for top standings, AFKers in BGs have gotten way more common, as have chinabots

basically the current bullshit queue system is what makes it possible for AFKers to get high standings. For the first 4-5 months the after release when there were multiple premades on both factions, this wasn't really a problem, because if you wanted high standings you had to actually join and group and play the game correctly. we've had a series of "queue systems" here but Nost has yet to implement the best option: Blizzlike queues + no multi queue.

He is specifically referring to Alliance. If you want to high rank quickly on Alliance now, you premade. Nothing has changed, this queue system is great for Alliance.

that is the result of players actions/attitudes, not the queue system itself. If a group of Horde queued together that could consistently beat the current ally premade(s) then things would be a bit different. However there is very little incentive to do this because of the queue system.
